When any portion of your belief of truth and religion, either contradicts or is a lie, do you still think that our text(Word of God) is true past that point?

If John Lennox is a scientist like he says why has he never produced scientific evidence to support his view!" Where are his works in the field of evolutionary science palaeontology anthropology astrophysics and cosmology! Lennox is a good talker, but he never provides any evidence! Many people seem to believe that humans were less intelligent in the past. Maybe they think so because of having watched films depicting humans from the past as " ignorant ". Creating ideas " from scratch " is more difficult than improving exiting ideas. Why some people have no difficulty to belive that there are invisible particles crossing matter and almost impossible to detect and they say that there is no such a thing as a spirit? Isn't it interesting that the conscious mind can choose what thought will be given attention and which will be stored for another occasion? And then there are ( rare ) cases of extra sensorial perception.

Mr Lennox is correct about the Genesis creation. Scripture states there is a period of time during which the Holy Spirit hovers over the waters of the deep. It is clear that there is a gap between creation of the Earth and the six periods of activity thereafter.

I think it's an endless discussion. No one can explain who or what is God. It is beyond this physical world. God if he exists is not from our universe. If he is, he would certainly have shown up in all his glory and explain to us the universe and reality in simple human language.

I like listening to John Lennox. It does blow my mind though that he is still talking about gravity as if it were a law and the planets as if there is this solar system.

Science helps us to decipher and comprehend the workings of the universe. The Bible, however, reveals that God's characteristics and divine essence are evident through His creation (Rom 1:20, Ps 8:3, etc). Thus, true scientific advancement will ultimately support and manifest the reality of God. The inability of modern science to definitively prove God's existence does not suggest His non-existence or that He is unprovable; rather, it underscores the present boundaries of scientific knowledge. If scientific exploration is conducted without undue limitations such as censorship, political correctness, and biases, it will ultimately and conclusively verify the existence of God.

In a nutshell: science's book of knowledge is the Cosmos itself...religion's book of knowledge is a rag-tag compilation of manmade writings whether the book is a torah, bible, quran...or book or texts from the rest of the approximately 3,000 other deities recorded in human history.
