This is definitely one of my absolute favorite SCPs. Incredible cosmic horror revolving around an entity that usually just drives weaboos to fantasize about steampunk utopias. The incredible detail of scientific realism, especially during the submarine log, is just incredibly awesome.

At the 53 minute mark we finally realize that this whole thing is just foul Tzeench heresy. From now on if I do any 40K roleplaying, I'm going to say one of his avatars is a smiling gray-faced emir.

This feels inspired by an episode of The Twilight Zone called A Nice Place to Visit, on lots and LOTS of steroids. A seemingly idyllic life is only entertaining for so long. One of the final lines of that episode is "Heaven? Whatever gave you the idea you were in heaven Mr. Valentine? This *IS* the other place!"

I like the idea of Mekhane experiencing his three month absence from the human noosphere as the divine equivalent of a hangover after a night of getting blackout drunk and not remembering any of it.

Im trying to imagine how the agents would react to Israeli shows I grew up with. The Pijamas: Motti is arrested for labour laws violation and his Hamburger joint is closed, and the band gets lectures on performaces and finnaly get to move to Natanya. Oh and Motti finnaly is being forced to divorce his wife so their daughter can finnaly live comfortably. Kobi is getting hospitalized for his MPD, Oded is getting high school education and Idan gets some anti anxiety meds.

I now remember an old Israeli comics called "Pizza Kamikaze" which basically just shows a normal life in the afterlife with some spiciness inside I could think that Pizza Kamikaze is on Korbenin and is just the poor periphery of it

I was torn in listening to this one. As I really liked the original red pool scp and the mystery behind it. However, this makes a really interesting tale of it and I'm excited to see what comes next.

Maybe a spicy take but Fulgrim is my favorite of the primarchs. His fall is just so massive and his early speeches really made me realize what a tragic loss he was to the Imperium. The striving for perfection leading to his absolute failure just clicks better for me than most primarch stories.

Seems im not the only one who immediately thought "The terminator 2 but with fey". I get the point is that its supposed to be ambiguous but I actually feel the story is straight forward. The box is the "tooth fairy", and it took an interest in Amitha, who is most likey a D class. I think its very much a good article that doesn't spoon feed you the concepts but gives enough information that you are able to piece together what is happening. Which is how most SCPs dealing with Fey are written. Refences to "hounds" as they are often a term used for fairy hunters and talking of iron and "face and name stealing" is text book fey. Phenomenal article over all. I do think that the end got a little comic bookish, buti dont mean that as a bad thing loke how many people in the community typically do.
