I've dealt with this since I was 25. I'm 34 now. One random night I woke up almost in tears that I'll die one day without a single person remembering me. I contemplated taking myself so many times. I've given my all to everyone trying to feel something. To make it worse, I feel happy, I have money, my own business, several ladies I have relationships with, cars, never hungry, but it never made that feeling go away. One day, one of my customers came and idk why but that day he invited me to church and I went that Sunday. I know, sounds stupid right 😅 . At the time, I thought so too but I went anyways because I had tried everything else. Well, fuck me sideways, that sermon was called "does a Christian go to heaven if they kill themselves" the short answer is yes. The pastor explained "Because your life doesn't belong to you if you truly surrendered yourself to the lord. Jesus has paid for your sin of suicide through his sacrifice on the cross so that you may go to heaven. And he's done so because he loves you." Yeah, i was screaming and crying inside when I heard that. All this time, I was looking for someone to sacrifice and love me the same way I did for them, turned out, Jesus already did. I'm not the guy that ever preached or forced people to go to Christ and I never will because I know learned that you'll make your own way to him as I did. He loves you and I felt it that day. It gave me just a bit of clarity and it's helped with my suicidal thoughts. I still feel at times completely dead inside and empty but Christ words is helping me heal. As I type this, I reminded myself of that family guy episode about wild e coyote trying to kill himself until he found the lord 😂. Funny but man if that wasn't me
