Dear God! Look into the ergonomics on the wrist and mouse. That thing is practically disigned to give you carpal tunnel. You don't want your wrist twisted. They should be like your giving a thumbs up. Vertical mouses should be the norm now. It would seriously reduce Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

Yes, Altium is a nice CAD package, but a bit overkill for home hobbyists. I use KiCAD. Plenty good enough though it lacks a pcb trace autorouter, but there is a third party one available that works. The musical stepper motors was interesting.
