The best way to fight altitude in La Paz it is not Staying in the old part of La Paz but the douth so the altirude is less in zona sur and the weather is warmer. Hoyels sre not expensive and are better thsn hostals.

Great video, but just so you know, if you get an IDL, it's only good for whatever vehicle you are allowed to drive in your own country. If you don't have a license that allows you to drive a motorcycle or scooter where you are from, and you get into an accident, the insurance company won't be covering your bills.

we just returned from San Pedro de Atacama. We did 3 Tours, including an all day one to Lakes 1, 2, 3 (salt flats) at 4200 m. the guide trips we Took were Limited to about 8 people and the guides were good and entusiastic. Most speak spanish, portuguese, and English. While the Tours are expensive you will learn a lot about indigeneous culture and the natural history of the area - so that in my opinion was important to better appreciate this unique natural area. Fun fact: San Pedro is considered an oasis in the alto plano since the Incas and original natives brought water from the Andes to the Valley. Also, San Pedro is largely built on the Burial ground of the indigeneous people so there are rules enforced by the poliica (who don't have much to do) to respect dead - meaning no street dancing, esp. for gringos, in the evening.

There's actually no such a thing as a private beach in Indonesia. Nobody can actually buy beach in Indonesia. So if there is someone who forbid people from entering a beach then that person actually doing an illegal act. Not saying that there are no one doing it. I believe that there are lots of companies doing exactly that by paying the officials.

Well is the begining of rainny season, so I could recomend you to visit Gamboa(Chagres National Park) and Taboga Island. Move by metro, metrobus and uber is cheapear than taxi.
