Is this a bad thing? Is there a chance Sony brings back OLED next year?

Thank you! I just spent 30 minutes on the phone trying to talk my 80-year-old uncle with early dementia through the process of changing inputs...and we still never figured it out. I can't see his screen and the instructions are not helpful at all. We tried to setup the voice remote but that requires creating and signing into a Samsung account, something that is impossible for him. I seriously can't believe Samsung did not put any thought into accessibility when they created this remote.

Once you go Sony, it's hard to go with another brand.

4400 € for bravia 9 (75inch) is fucking ridiculous 😂 why on earth should someone pay so much for a mini LED TV ? The A95L 65 inch version costs 2800 € currently in Germany and it has QD-OLED technology

I’m likely going to pair the sony a80l with my sony 4k bluray… …the performance in combination probably shouldn’t be ignored, but there’s little to no information on such setups - not to mention everyones setup needs are unique - but the one selling point for me over other brands (I am brand agnostic), is the Sony’s ability to playback 24fps. My expectations of the combined setup is better SD playback - this and better playback of compressed video files. No idea how photos will be processed & output to the eye. My one concern with the Sony is the contrast ratio & output of blacks, but it appears as though specular highlights are well controlled. We shall… …see.

Thank you for this! My ps5 keep streaming atmos pcm to my receiver when I only have a 5.1 receiver. Changing it to bitstream it finally show dtshd . I thought I was gonna have to buy a separate bd player to get the audio right

Sony its like Asians they can do a lot with small things ... :)

In micro LED pixels can die and loose brightness by one, and after a while you will get dirty screen effect with dead pixels around the screen

I use grey background and 75% opacity setting on my Sony FALD with KODI player, helps a lot with subtitle blooming.

Very important question incoming: I returned my MZ2000 because sound issues regarding buzzing bass. I had it connected to an external subwoofer and the issue was still there. I didn’t had this issue with my previous JZ2000. It seems to be an issue since the LZ series. Will this be fixed in the Z95A series? Or will it have the same build-in speakers and chassis?

QD-OLED is the best!

Tcl not giving any service.. there no point to buy this TV from here... From last 6 days they don't even install my TV.. and Amazon claiming 1 day installation.. 😂 they don't even bother about customer service.

Why are all the manufacturers ruining the micro led displays by using fully matte screens? The screens seem to be as matte as those on the s95d.

OLED color is way over saturated, QLED color feels more natural.

No built in speakers

Panasonic's marketing department isn't really that great. Not only do they release their TV's later than the competition, they also don't sell in the US and their marketing isn't doing all that much either. So people who are dying for information and want to make a choice usually don't consider the Panasonic and just go with LG instead. I had the 55JZ1000E and it was a great tv, I regret selling it but I can't even find a lot of information about the new tv's so I just caved and bought a LG G3 that was about 1250 bucks.

03:55 So basically, Sony is engineering their Mini LED to perform similarly to an OLED, unlike with the rest of TV brands that are simply increasing the number of dimming zones. Sounds a lot better if you ask me.

I turn HDR off it looks grainy and grey on my tv but that’s because I set it to 1080p it looks colorful and great only areas are darker areas sometimes I struggle to see dark skins

Why is there so much ghosting on the 4k blu ray side? That doesnt make sense to me. Is it a capturing issue?

No matter how advanced projectors becoming, they will always be limited by lighting conditions far too much and look washed out… it’s such a shame.. I’d rather wait for a decent 100” or 120” TV…
