Excellent episode! I think Dave and Eemili seem like natural enemies. I hope it's not true, but they seem like they annoy each other.

Use solar thermal modules to heat up your water. Its more efficient than to use the electric energy from your PV system since you dont need to transition the energy from thermal to electric and back to thermal.

Amazing use of trash. This is the kind of recycling that is actually helpful rather than sending it all to a recycling plant where half or more is rejected and sent landfill anyway.

I love what you're doing. Just for the swamp area pay good attention to the area where the land meets the water. It needs to have areas that are not steep and have some plants and rocks so that frogs and dragonflies and hopefully many other insects wil be able to access the water.

Your current parking area could fit 2-3x more cars if people backed against the tree line perpendicular. Put a solar-powered pump in your pond to aerate and you will have better biodiversity. Your current situation is depleting the oxygen content of the water which makes it unlivable for many species. Varying skill sets have different values, regardless of the people. Example, drinkable water ie plumbers. Your YT channel requires electricity ie electricians. Both professions are in a shortage worldwide.

Hi Project Kamp!! It's amazing to have the opportunity to follow your channel and all the progress you are making on your land. I know you have just had your Q&A video, but maybe you could answer my question in the next one. Since Project Kamp is all about finding sustainable green ways of treating communities and the environment... have you considered a side project like "Project Hemp" ?? As you likely know, hemp is the plant with a thousand uses, used by humans for millennia. From building materials (hempcrete, isolation - so you could cultivate your own non toxic, fire resistant , mold resistant building materials with very interesting properties ), to a good source of proteins & fibres for a well balanced diet, not even mentioning the benefits for the environment (hemp is a front liner in CO 2 sequestration comparable with the silvicol models; fixing and repairing the soil; helping pollinators exectly when they need it most). And the beauty of it all... it's all evidence based. Might be something to consider for the next season?! Wishing you all the best! 🌱💚🌱

Actually having a twitch account and yt streaming 24/7, but only on high activities spots where privacy is not expected already That's probably a amazing idea to make some extra income, apart from the investment

To clean the mold from the tent, order some sniper biocide. It doesn't hurt fabric like bleach or peroxide. I also treat shallow wounds with it. It will also cure ringworm.

For the pizza oven, try putting pieces of cardboard between the metal/cast iron parts and the bricks/mortar. This will allow contraction and expansion to take place without creating cracks over time to the mortar. Saw this technique recently and it sounds like a good idea.

I throw empathy your way as building anything that can stand repeatable firing is very tough. Even the industrial grade fire bricks tend to crack. The only thing that I know that works, is to make a "kiln" out of many individual pieces so that it expands individually, and not as a whole. However, there is a trade off. Because if you go with say 'bricks'. There will be ample gaps and spaces the heat will seap from. It won't provide a level of insulation. The tried and true method is a "fake oven". It simply has too be a metal box. No way around it. If you're using natural materials, you will have to tear it down, and remake the "kiln" over and over again. Or replace the bricks that get damaged over time. It has to be metal. Build a metal box, and to provide natural insulation. You can use old bricks to cover it. I have seen people use bricks inside the metal oven, but you will periodically have to replace them, and they said that it is easy enough for most of them. Many "fake" metal ovens that don't have a roof, or an enclosure often rust through. There aren't that many natural fire proof coatings that can prevent some rust. You will still have to rebuild the metal box, but it will last 10x as long compared to it being made out of a unified, solid material if properly covered. One way to prolong the metal as long as possible, is not allowing moisture to get into the vent. Try to make the door and exhaust as air tight as possible. I don't know if you want to go into this, but there is a danger with smoking meat, as well as cooking stuff with wood often can infuse the food with carcinogens. The filtering process for the hot air from the fire is complicated, and I am no expert. I would think a box with activated carbon would be a nice filter in-between the fire and the food, but I would not take my word on this. Eating something cooked over the fire or smoked should be fine every once in a while. Doing it every day, or even 3 times a day caries a heavy risk factor. The risk increases substantially for a individual if they smoke cigarettes. Even though there is a risk, I personally, and non professionally think the risk is worth the tasty stuff that comes out of the fire. Just something to think about.
