Dave, I've spoken with you several times about my history of being a US Navy "Brat" as we were labeled and which our mother hated, yet tradition ARE Traditions. As an adult (as also mentioned in the past) I was hired to create and manage a not for profit that created links and support for military families in the NW Sound. We had and still have every branch of the US's military represented here in my city and county, in Seattle, and in other locations around the Puget Sound. The bottom line is that when men and women join any of the American military, certain things that they could do anytime, and anywhere are definitely off the table depending on a variety of factors. No enlisted or officer personnel can freely speak about things relating to the military because of one phrase: the military works for the Nation and has rules that address the needs of the Nation. Period. People who are in any NATIONS military will have the same rules. These rules are very clearly addressed out loud in public indoctrination meetings prior to the men and women becoming official at whatever rank in which they can join. BTW, most beginners do not start with a rank in the US. Some people began in highschools via classes in their for Basic Training, which took them forward even when before people sign up

JK's political beliefs and all of BTS's political beliefs are their's and their's alone, nothing to do with their music or public persona. Just like their sexuality, they are entitled to their views, beliefs and attractions, no one has the right to try to impose their views on others, we ALL HAVE A RIGHT TO FREEDOM OF CONSCIENCE, FREEDOM TO LOVE WHO WE WANT, FREEDOM OF SPEECH. I think I have mentioned several times TaeJoon bring the same feelings or emotions when listening to their musical styling, BUT that is not a bad thing. I love all the solo projects for different reasons because they evoke different feelings when you hear them. I find it really interesting that Tae and Joon-ah have similar concepts and MV feels because they deal with deeper, darker themes and lyrics based on insecurities (Yoongi as well). The three of them used twins in their concepts because it shows reflection and introspection of themselves or their characters. Together the members are BTS, but their solos have proven to be a beautiful garden with many beautiful flowers. ❤

They are targeting mainly western celebrities and western companies, to undermine their ad revenues on all social media platforms. Most people participating say it makes them feel less helpless and it's empowering to know that in the modern world of surveillance capitalism and the attention economy, it's our individual attention that is the currency and we still have the power to withhold our attention from companies that are complicit in genocide.

Soldiers need to be fed, and if JK is fulfilling that duty 24/7 (as it were), then he is doing a VERY important job - and he should be just left to get on with it, with his fellow kitchen workers. The buddy/companion soldier thing is that. Buddy - not joined at t he hip! The guys will be close by, likely in the same barracks when off duty, to talk to one another and offer mutual support, talk about their day, offload worries.... MAYBE it works out that when they get days off (except for special awarded days off) they get that time off at the same time, so there's not one left behind, who while the other is gone has no close friend to talk to. This period should serve as training for ARMY to not push the guys for information, but to accept the information they give us.

Asian countries have a big problem with hate/ bullying. The majority of all the drama and back stabbing I've seen are from Asian's. I read that South Korea is the biggest bullying place. I don't know but from what I've seen they do love to keep drama going. Personally I find this to be a really weird perspective to have. I understand people may not want to be faced with the horrific realities of genocide, famine and global injustice 24/7 because that is very taxing but that is not what people are asking of celebrities. People are asking celebrities to use their huge platforms to show solidarity, this didn't asking them to post about it constantly or to go to marches or even to include it in their music. Nobody is asking for your 'escape' to be hindered or interrupted. Celebrities hold huge influence in our society and access to upper echelons that the average persona has no access to, through showing solidarity with those in need celebrities have a higher likelihood of inciting change in those that actually hold power in the world. We saw how Kim Kardashian was able to leverage her celebrity status to help get people pardoned by the president despite hundereds of people protesting for the same thing with no results. Throughout history also we have seen how celebrities joining movements helped spreeed the message but also to get it to be discussed by higher powers. Celebrities do not exist in a apolitical amoral vacume and neither do we as individuals, expecting celebrities to reflect the society that they are benefiting from is not a strange ask. Frankly, I'd rather people just say that they do not care about global suffering and that id why they don't want to see their favorite celebrity comment on the matter because these excuses of 'keeping music free from politics' etc aren't only false they are just weak arguments.

I am very saddened and angry with all the stupid retarded rumours about Jungkook. If he is a religious person, he got that from his home, from his parents who raised him till he joined BIGHIT, and that is his own personal thing. In most countries we never ask about it. Hard to believe that Jungkook, at his current age would allow himself be manipulated or "groomed" into another religion or express any kind of political stand. Korean idols are not allowed to do that, ever, especially from the military, where they lose a huge part of their own identity to become one of many.
