The 1928A1 si my favorite Thompson! Ive heard that its actually better made than the Thompson M1A1. Has a better sight, has a foregrip, and the barrel flanges for cooling are aesthetically pleasing. Im not a fan of the top charging handle though. I dint like how you aim through it. My only dislike of this gun.

Im told 16 gauge is popular in Europe, Loads of German shotguns used it during and after ww2 and I recall hearing about some car steering wheels being cannibalised in croatia or serbia because a piece of pipe in the wheel was 16 gauge and thus easy to convert into a shotgun.

If anyone is wondering if this a blast to own and shoot, the answer is unequivocally yes. Drum isn't actually that bad to load and the stick mags look just as cool if not cooler
