This was my favourite yet! Pyrion's leap into alternative history was brilliant - and what a story! A romance, a sonnet, a ballad, a meme! It's fascinating how similarly Lewis, Tom and Pyrion's runs started, too, but I suppose it's natural to start with the history you know best.

Honestly this could be turned into a fantastic movie/book trilogy of Casper with this plotline as the main one, a prequel featuring dino-d.a.d. and how like the island came together and then collapsed, and then a sequel of future Casper growing up, the dinopocalypse, and the time stuff where it shows him going through several loops ending in this one or like a happy ending depending on the vibes.

I like how Tom b made a nice innocent squire boy and then he immediately became an egoistical monster

My first impression of Tom, as a non Yogscast viewer, was that he's a mischievous imp man here to cause chaos. I got this from watching Games Night. I feel vindicated.

I have a suggestion on some slight longterm play. Just bring Lydia and Simon in as Maggie and Perry with a rotating cast of other yogs. Would be a great way of getting the yogs with little to no experience in TTRPG in for a session, see how they like it/ adjust.

Recently did one of a Pictish woman with druidic themes which ended with her determining people are awful and disappearing into the forest. A note for Tom and others who want to play this - you don't need to start at Prompt 1. You use that as a starting prompt which you base the first roll from but it doesn't have to be the first one you act on. That particular bit of the rulebook isn't worded the best

What if Madeline ages/suffers the same disfigurements and stuff, and becomes the Old Crone. Her 600 years of pain, followed by an eternity cursed to live as a monster, either she becomes a mythical entity and goes back to curse the man who caused her so much pain, or lives long enough that time travel is a thing, Or Whatever, either way starting the cycle all over again in a big time loop

damn, pyrions knowledge of history, and military history in particular, really paid off in this game. i love how enveloped he became in the character, and the way they altered history... i was totally hoping he'd become the man in the iron mask with the whole gunpowder thing, but the way he went about it was great! technologically advanced aztecs! but yeah, i agree with a lot of the comments about the ending, that Madeline would have been searching for him, and used the archaeologist to find him, to put both of themselves out of misery, rather than a blind, cruel, betrayal... HOWEVER, knowing how the game is played, perhaps that was just the luck of her roles, and SHE forgot how much they meant to eachother.... GREAT GAME, would 1000% watch this as a movie!
