You said it all, well researched great video but basically sad. We all only have one life to live and to have it taken away so needlessly is again more than sad. Very good channel. You keep things intelligent. Thank you.

It's a flawed, but surprisingly lyrical and oneiric vampire film which flew under the radar of many horror fans in pre-internet times. I used to see Cheryl Smith around LA quite a bit in the 80s, hanging out at Club Lingerie, shopping on Melrose, at The Whiskey...I always wanted to say hello and tell her how much I enjoyed Lemora, but opted not to bother her. RIP.

I didn't find it particularly funny, but I did enjoy it in a strange sort of way. If nothing else, it's unique. The Ackroyd film that REALLY got unjustly savaged was NEIGHBORS, one of the most misunderstood films ever made.

I tried to see this at Radio City. The children were screaming and crying so loudly that they turned up the soundtrack to ear splitting levels. After a half hour of it I left, along with lots of parents with their kids.

I think marblehornets might've been a victim of it's own success. The early episodes had enough material for a decent found footage short, but the more expansion they added to the narrative and lore in order to meet the demand for more content, the more weaknesses of the project were revealed. if they'd wrapped it up after the initial run of episodes I think time would be kinder to it.

About spaulding in the first movie. He literally told them theres no point in going to the hanging tree, and they won't find anything good out there. But they insisted and he had no problem sending them to their deaths at that point. The twist at the end was a twist because the people he killed in the beginning were robbing him. As far as the audience was concerned, he wasn't really one of the "bad guys", or part of that family until the very end.

As much as I love the franchise, I think the sequels kind of defeat the purpose of the first film. It was a satire of the slasher genre, but it's getting a thousand stale sequels like all the rest of them.

Amazing video. I have watched/listened to it every night for the past week. I never actually enjoyed courage as a kid too much. I do so more now as an adult. The main reason back then is that silent cartoon characters made me very bored.

This is really actually quite horrible and it absolutely goes way beyond the usual levels of exploitation in these kinds of shows. The most depressing part after the shocking treatment of the contestants is James Gunn behaving like just another Hollywood slimebag who is happy to humiliate or sexually exploit young actresses for entertainment, I assume the Gunn of today wouldn't treat actors on his films this way (or wouldn't dare to) so to see this kind of behaviour openly displayed here is really quite incredible. At least Roth was just always clearly a piece of shit, so no real surprise there.

Nobody makes a big deal out of nudity outside of Hollywood. I don't get it. I think the more budget a film has, the less sexuality or nudity you can show or else its dirty or whatever. I don't even see her as ''sexualized'' in this series. I see it way more in in the fifth element. nobody fucks in that sterile cinema trainwreck after all (this is a minor not on your analysis, but I just needed to note it......) love.

Hardly any comedy actor from the '80s was highly successful in the '90s!!! You can credit that to the "cultural evolution" that took place then, shifting the agenda to corrupt everything and erase certain influence from the mainstream and replace it with others that serve to destroy the middle class and in general create lack and chaos into overdrive, as has only increased tremendously ever since!!!

The ending of the Witch is the best part of the whole movie! There are sublet hints that Edgers leaves throughout the movie to make you doubt wether the events that are taking place are actually happening or not. The biggest being a callback to the Salem trials itself- when the father discovers the crops of corn have been infected with ergot rot- which is believed to have caused the hallucinations that started the witch trials in Salem. Thomason rejects the puritan patriarchal society and becomes free as a witch and is flying high above the trees in the end. Is it real? Or is it all in her head? Even the last scene shows her floating by herself- none of the other witches are there-just her. Its meant to be ambiguous. It’s a critique on religions zealously in this country and the idea that no matter what Thomason did, she was doomed. Doomed to be a slave in a patriarchal society? Or live deliciously in her own madness, or maybe as a witch? I like that it’s never really answered.

I was just discharged from a mental hospital today, I can confirm that it's nothing like how it's popularly depicted. It's not scary in there, you truly do feel safe. And while it doesn't solve all your problems, it's a good first step if you're in a particularly bad spot. I was utterly terrified going in, more scared than I think I've ever been in my life. But once I went in and started to settle down, it was a good experience.

The Quote the creator of Billy & Mandy gave about his current relationship with CN is really sad, both for him and the actual children. It just shows the state of children's animation when their own Parents and even the network making their shows give so little consideration and effort to them. At that point it would be better to just give them an Ipad to shut up with then bother making shows at all if both sides are that desperate to just get children leave them alone and be docile as possible. I get it, Kids are super annoying and you do just want to turn your brain off for an hour and not be a parent. But you're actively depriving your child of any material to think critically of and an entertaining method to introduce deeper concepts and ideas they can't get anywhere else, or that you don't have the time/knowledge to explain to them. Children who grow up with no mental stimulation like that become unintelligent brats as adults with no emotional or mental growth. As much as I would like to thank online cartoons and shorts for at least substituting it, the sheer volume of Elsa gate and low effort content farms over the amount of quality shows and animation only make this worse. We need to come together collectively as a entertainment industry and ask; "What kind of person will a child grow up into if they only ever saw Skibidi Toilet or Make up transformation videos?" It's a sad question we should have never gotten to the point of asking.
