I'm 51 years old at this age we've all been through the hard times that's life. At least that's what everybody says but everybody's road is different some smooth as glass some are as Rocky as the mountains. This song resonates with me like nothing that I've ever heard in my life in one week I lost two nieces one by fentanyl overdose the other by suicide by my gun! I came home one night and found her I tried to save my niece that's why I brought her home to stay with me and my wife thinking that would be enough to save her but obviously I didn't do enough. My family tells me it's not my fault! I was her uncle! My family has always looked to me for strength, I can say that I am not that man I don't feel strong if I was that man then why did my niece take her life I'm not looking for sympathy I'm just sharing my feelings and experience because I know unfortunately there's so many people out there going through what I've been through! I'm still going through . it's been 4 years I used to never drink on a daily basis, I was a social drinker! Just the other day I counted all the crown Royal bags that I have in my possession since that terrible day when I found her it's the only way that I can sleep I can't get over the fact that I couldn't save her. It has torn my family apart I feel that I'm failing on every level ! One day I counted all the bags in 4 years I drank 725 bittles y'all can do the math, in that moment I realized that the whiskey wasn't working I fell to my knees and begged God please save me, I'm not going to lie to you I've slowed my drinking down to one bottle a week I realized I have to be sober so I can learn to forgive myself and learn to trust the Lord it wasn't God's fault it wasn't my fault it is the devil's fault he's doing his job and his job is to lie still and kill! To any of you out there that are going through this! There's no amount of alcohol or drugs that will make it go away! Only God's grace can! That's the only way we can get through this!,🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️

I did not what this song mint at first my husband looked at me told me to song was me. Me and him both was in addiction I went to a rehab he stay her got clean. We are both sober but we lost everything. Right we live in a hotel were we have lived for a year. But I know heart it's going to change soon. We stood behind each other this hole time.
