I hope dpace X establishes a base on the moon in the prime lunar reel estate. in the shakleton crater before anyone elae becsuse NASA do not have the will to land s man on the moon or Mars. their latest excuse for not going to mars is fue to them developing a nuclear space drive to get them there faster. by the time this technology reaches maturity space X would have established a Colony on Mars. ten years before they arrive with their high speed nuclear . space drive. though if musk has established a colony on Mars that would be yet smother excuse for NASA not to bother launching so they can keep wasting taxpayers money researching it but achieving nothing

Anyone that is developed, born and then grows up on Mars, will face severe difficulties to ever set foot on Earth, due to the changes in body structure from the lower gravity. Let's not even talk about a few generations down the line. It's my opinion, that settlements on Mars should be permanent, but the people be kept in rotation.

Has the Shepard rocket fixed the problem from the last accident? The last accident was in september of 2022 and the booster was a pancake.

Instead refuelling in space, fuel containers should be send to space and wait for the Moon Starship to be joined to it. Much safer and faster method I suppose.

The Starship send to the Moon should land horizontally, not vertically. Most of problems with lift would disappear. Imagine if lift would be not operational for some reason; the mission would fail after successful landing at the Moon!

You left something out. The new world settlers bought over the same bullshit from Europe that they were running from. Namely discrimination, greed, serfdom, SLAVERY, *rampant* corruption, social exclusion and religious bullshit. Today the US is the same capitalist hellscape that Europe was 600 years ago while Europe is more progressive. Blade Runner's offworld colonies were natural resource exploration businesses that used "lesser peoples" to provide material resources for humans back on earth. Who does that sound like? Oh that's right. Europeans who sent their prisoners, religious plebs, the uneducated and socially outcast to the Americas to do what? THAT'S RIGHT...to exploit the lands, kill the natives and send the material wealth back to Europe. What you SHOULD compare it to was the Apollo missions from the standpoint of Black and Brown Americans during the 1960s and 1970s. When the US government had cut off social investment to minority communities after just spending 15 years giving free money to whites to build suburbs all over the US after world war two. Suddenly there was no money for schools in Harlem, Detroit or West Chicago - but there were billions to build rocket ships as a cockflex and pissing contest to the cold war Soviets. The cold war ended, suddenly no one cared about NASA toys anymore but there was still no social investment into poverty stricken communities, which was against the exact promise NASA and the government made during the cold war - that expansions in scientific research would create funding and opportunity in low-income inner city areas. Mars has no natives, it has no natural resources, it has nothing to mine or exploit. Elon wants to go to mars for his own ego and to amass a city of 1 million elite citizens to live like kings while all of us trash work and toil on earth to keep them living in their permanent gold-star space resort. All of us will be down here toiling away in Tesla and Space X factories and sending money, resources, toys, food and supplies to Elon sitting in some virtual beach construct on mars sipping whiskey sent from earth. THAT is what you need to compare this too. Not some sort of romantic view of escaping hardship to find a new life.

Fuel cell usage on Mars would be ideal It produces electricity and water . Water all over Mars on the surface .Water can be used to spray off solar panels , and spray into the atmosphere to moisten the dusk. Fuel cells on Mars is the best idea for now.

When they do they must land where the alledged Apollo missions landed and prove once and for all that they were faked.

In the past 20 years, 4 countries have sent lunar orbiters to the moon. Those took detailed photos of the entire lunar surface, and they found that the Apollo landing sites look exactly as seen in the Apollo photos. LM, science instruments, rover, even the foot tracks of the astronauts are all visible in those photos, proving once and for all that the Apollo missions are real.

OK - we found out that a different person is narrating both The Space Race and The Tesla Space, as of today’s videos. However, the original guy narrated the Opera advertisement in this video. MY TWO CENTS - let the original person (who pronounces the word “the” like “thee”) keep narrating. His style is freakin’ great; whereas the new person sounds like a salesman to me. (Sorry, new person). Bottom line, I *much* prefer our original guy - who I imagine founded both channels (?)

I don't know if they know this but they can fire bundles of construction materials into space from earth without rocket fuel and should be shooting tons of it towards a collection point on the moon. Using the mile long gun barrel in Arizona they need to shoot all day every day two hundred lbs of metal straps that will be guided by drone after orbit is surpassed the payloads can crash land on deeper craters of the moon with this they reduce payload for flown missions and develop a virtual lumber yard on the moon. Of course that must be built out as well and that construction would be the phase one of the test to prove the launch by rifle concept. Or you use that material to construct the outer portion of a moon mine where you can certainly recover metals and water the lower you go. Mining on the moon if youve built your cover plate is easier and safer than on earth because of gravity that soil and crust is going to require less power to dig

So I really don’t want to step on anybody’s feelings if the video was indeed narrated by a real human, but the difference in pronunciation and especially pauses between the advertisement part and the rest of the video is striking. While I am sure that the sponsoring massage part was actually narrated, the rest seems to be “spoken” by an AI based on your voice. It unfortunately makes the video very uncomfortable to watch.

Would it not be simpler / Better to land upside down with big legs. Maybe with a moon buggy fitted to the entrance hatch ready to go after landing. Split the lander from the raptor engines prior to landing also. To have less weight and height. Just a thought…

Mars is a dead-end. We should be focusing on mobile space colonies, harvesting resources from comets and asteroids. There's no end to comets and asteroids. I believe that the Oort cloud doesn't "belong" to the Sun the way most folks seem to explain it. I think it's just a slight increase in density in a sea of comets, asteroids and dark planets that spreads through the entire galaxy. That means there's no end of resources out there, and even when the solar system is all used up, we could just keep on drifting outwards.
