This is a lot easier to bring out than you’d think. Use chaos black luster and king of swamp and bam you have an easy fusion summon. For those who don’t know king of swamp has an effect to substitute as one of the required fusion materials.

The issue a lot of people don't get is something you touched on: Pot of Greed would help every deck, but it wouldn't help them all *equally*. Six additional draws and three fewer cards in deck would help out some decks more than others, and those decks tend to be decks that are already powerful without the addition of PoG. By making PoG legal, you would just widen the gulf between meta decks and rogue strategies

Especially *because* the power level of Yu-Gi-Oh is so much higher than in the past PoG should never be unbanned - as its power is based on the power of the cards you draw with it. A straight up unconditional +1 should never exist in this game to beginn with since it would be an auto-include in more or less every single deck, thus reducing deck diversity even more, but it gets even worse with higher power levels. In a hypothetical meta with absolutly terrible cards PoG wouldn't be as much of an issue for example, since drawing 2 cards doesn't realy matter when you draw Ancient Telescope and Lightning Conger with it....

I think you sold the card short by saying 99% of decks would use it. Their is literally no reason not to put it in your deck, it would be in 100% of decks.

no setup required? you had to draw pot of greed? and with as many search cards and pendulums as there are now, pot of greed is near useless and you should be able to stack 3 of them. its a waste of a card space with how quick the game is anyways. theres also counters to pot of greed.

Not into the game at all but from an outside point of view, can you just do like draw 2 for half your life points? Or are life points kinda obsolete?

I mean pot of greed would be game breaking in so many decks, since most meta decks revolve around the 10% chance of pulling your combo card, with pot of greed however chances are 10% for the needed card +10% chance for pot of greed which minus 4 cards since initial plus the 2 remaining pots and you can quickly see that you have almost 3 times the probability to pull the required card, even more, meta decks usually don't only revolve around a single combo, take the deskbot deck for example, ideally you want a 003 on your first hand, however a 002 with, monster reborn, (005 or 007 + 006 or 008), or even a 004 all lead to a full board on turn 1, the only 2 ways to counter then would be ability blocks or a board wipe and even those can be countered with 009 the cances for a brick are close to none, not only that but the field spell dekbot base allows you to reshuffle deskbot cards and draw the same amount of reshuffled cards. In conclusion yugioh is a game that requires a certain amount of luck and tampering with the numbers would cause unbalanced and unfair playing fields and as shown already, no reasonable drawback is enough to compensate the opposing player. (PS: if someone has any ideas for a no prep trap or spell to counter yubel decks plz let me know)

I summon pot of greed to draw two cards then I summon pot of greed to the grave yard to then get another two turns so now I draw a pot or greed with luck and then play another pot of greed to draw two more cards. Which allows me to play greedy pot head which deals x420 to damage dealt from direct attacks. Good thing my pot of greed allowed me to draw greedy greedy which I summoned in defense which allows me to do unlimited things within one turn. So I then summon 3 eyes greedy dragon to steal all your cards from your deck to attack you for a base damage of +99999 x420 because of the greedy pot head already in play from earlier.

Episode #4767 of Farfa spending the entire time complaining about and insulting Gage when hes been playing the most boring decks this whole time. Someone tell him he can give complements or insights into gameplay instead of shitting on everything that happens.
