Thank you for the tutorial l. Do you know how can I extract the time with nanoseconds accuracy from the GPS module as I can see only the time with Milliseconds format.

I made this project and it works only if the Arduino is plugged in my PC , but the thing is whenever I use an external power supply it doesn't do anything.

Congratulations for your video: clear explanations, solid knowledge, good "script" as well as modesty in recognizing you had some bugs. Fortunately, this has never happened to me, so that I don't really need such instructive and valuable videos.

Great explanation. I am having trouble understanding what word you are saying when you are talking about the commit identifiers - it sounds like you are calling them "shou-in". What word are you saying?
@sayanee2 місяці тому
I guess I meant SHA-1 as the commit ID: git-scm.com/docs/hash-function-transition/

Hello, I'm developing an BLE socket based windows client utility package using winsock & winsock2 library layer, but during build process, socket is getting connected with server socket fd. But then no data being receiving and thereafter code will getting terminating. can you suggest any root cause ??

I was interested in LoRa and found you. Much more important is how you think. Your husband is a lucky man. I am 76YO and happily married. But I admire you greatly and wished I had worked for you during my career. I did get to work at Bell Telephone Labs, which was great. After that, I had no great management. Finally I worked as a one man Corporation and sold my consulting services. I am saying I recognize your intelligence and abilities and admire you. This is a great video about how to approach project management.

Such a great video, congrats. The Arduino community need some more content like this. Also, I'm currently using an open source serial monitor for Windows called QtSerialMonitor, it has a bunch of options and it's very lightweight. When I'm on Linux, I like to just use the plain stty command and cat on that file -- or echo strings to the tty to send information to my Arduino board. In Windows, there is a C# object that allows you to connect to some COM connection, it's quite easy to setup in a simple PowerShell script: $Conn = New-Object System.IO.Ports.SerialPort COM9, 115200, None, 8, one $Conn.DtrEnable = $True $Conn.Open() Start-Sleep -Seconds 2 while ($True) { $Data = $Conn.ReadExisting() if ($Data.Length -ne 0) { Write-Host $Data } # These lines will allow you to exit this loop by pressing Q on your keyboard :) if ([Console]::KeyAvailable) { $key = [Console]::ReadKey($true).Key if ($key -eq "q") { break } } Start-Sleep -Milliseconds 50 } $Conn.Close() Edit : looks like @emestb.2377 has a similar solution using Python

I don't think the max range with line of sight matters in any way, it's not a realistic scenario. The fact the GPS cannot work on the bridge or if there's a bit of foliage, though, that's not good.

Hello. I want to copy the remote control of a GREE air conditioner, but the data I obtain with the receiver code is always different. For example; The two shutdown codes in the (close-on-close) command I receive from the remote control are different. Is it possible that the code is encrypted? How can I go about it? Thanks.

Make sure if putting designators and values if any will be covered by the component, have the value covered not the designator. This helps when repairing or troubleshooting Also any connection to a pad should be as large as possible especially for thru hole components

Great video, clean schematics. Your organization and debugging of the different systems is great, and something every engineer should strive towards.

So informative❤, I wasnt aware about the operating voltage range, I was deciding that 3v3 is standard, while in fact some devices range from 1v6 to 5v . In addition, I think before we order any pcb , we need to test alot on bread board almost all circuitry before we put them in the final place on the pcb. As well some compenent must have certain location in the pcb for instance decoupling capacitors to work perfectly they should be as close as possible from the mcu, same for the crystal. 😊
