The difference in Cameron and Scott being in aliens you generally cared about the character's, but with Scott you just really didn't give a flying frig about any of Scott's character's, being that they were already just meat fodder .

This is one movie that still inflicts fear in me even after all this time !!! Such a great movie!!! The work of James Cameron truly shown up Ridley Scott for sure !!! I think that because of the huge success of this movie probably sent Scott insane, because it showed the brilliance of Cameron in taking this movie into a totally different realm that Scott just wasn't expecting !!! This movie still is the very best of all of the alien movie's to this very day !!!

After the first set of century guns ran out of ammo, then you hear the zexnos banging on the blast door was animous. The constant banging on that door still sends shivers down my spine.

I'm not a terribly emotional person but when Ripley tell's Newt that she had a little girl and Newt ask where she is and Ripley tell's her that she is gone and Newt says,, you mean dead , that got me choked up a little.

Friggin Gorman !!! If they just gave her a little bit more time , Ripley could of gotten much needed information from Newt and could have saved the lives of the colonial Marines, but because Gorman was such an inpatient ass towards Newt he basically sighed all their death warrant's !!! Alone surviver of the aliens invaders who killed and took live colonists being brought to the aliens hive to be host to more of those monstrosities. If Ripley had the time to get Newt comfortable and able to trust in Ripley's motherly ways, I'm more than sure that Newt would have opened up to Ripley and in her own way try and explain just what happened to the rest of the colonists. All it would have took would to treat Newt as a survivor and not just some kind that couldn't possibly give them any important information about just what awaited them if they countiued to move further in to the aliens hive . If they only took what this child could hand them over as extremely very much important information.

Bravo. One reviewer said it was a sequel better than the original. He was right. That seldom happens. However the original was excellent.

I could have wrote a better Alien 3...would have been cool to have Michael Biehn and Newt in sequel. Lazy azz writers in Hollywood--I will write a reboot script one day to prove it. Hey they rebooted Batman and Superman so why not?

Happy Alien Day!

This is the huge difference between James Cameron and that Ridley Scott !!! Where one directed his attention on going face to face with the most horrific space alien of all time, where the other trying desperately to attempt to explain where they came from. This is what makes Aliens that much better of a movie!!! Cameron's idea of what could happen if the Aliens took over while Ridley chased his pathetic tail in trying to explain just where they came from. Ridley took a series of prequels and just left question's unanswered, where Cameron said here they are and let's kill all of them!!! He took a squal and made it into a friggin masterpiece that ruled for well over 40 friggin years and is still a smash hit !!!! I believe that Ridley Scott must have hit his head along the way!!! Cameron brought a friggin monster to the silver screen and cemented his legacy for ever with his incredible directing and creating a plot that by all means is insanely believable !!! The use of the loader and the Marines with their awesome 🔥 power makes for an horror reality !!! I can't say enough about his work and the terrific cast that he put together to make this movie what it is, complete action and showing the both sides of humanity, the worst and then the very best of humanity, and it worked in classic fashion !!! Ridley takes us on a journey that made no friggin sence to me . But Cameron brought us up and personal with the perfect organism that showed the human spirit not willing to quit even in the face of annihilation of a much more intelligent and far superior being. Each time I see his pathetic prequels, I find myself walking away confused as ever. But with Aliens it's all about survival!!! Here you have ordinary marine's literally out smarting the perfect organism at almost every turn too survive and protect one another. I was 25 when I first saw this film , and now at 60 I still am enthralled with the simple special effects unlike those last two let Downs. This movie still packs a hell of a punch!!! Even after all this time !!!

I would have jumped at the chance of being able to become an actor in aliens!!! Pulse rifle or most likely going off with that badass smart gun !!!! Just a thought, so don't hate on me too much, okay.

And yes I'm a total alien geek , nurd . I admit it. I just can't help myself!!! The action and the possibility of being face hugged got my blood pounding!!!

I'm hoping beyond hope that Romulus will be a good movie, at least I hope so !!! I don't like the idea of Disney getting involved, not at friggin all. , but hey maybe they'll show me wrong and make an absolute great story, and just maybe might be an absolute favorite, who knows , Right ?

But Aliens is and will always be my absolute favorite. The last two were like getting stabbed in the back with disappointment!!!

I also liked alien vs predator requiem. It made me think what if ? Ya know ? Some may have not liked it much but for me I thought " man, imagine if that happened ? I know it sounds ridiculous but I really like the theme of humanity in peril on our own turf .

I look at the other alien films and I gotta tell ya the 1st and Aliens are by far the best I have had the good fortune of watching and enjoying still to this day !!!

I can watch this movie over and over again!!! That's how much I truly love this classic film !!! This movie puts any other science fiction too shame, completely !!!

Also what I feel so strongly about is that this movie shows the worst of humanity and the very best of humanity !!!

What I absolutely love about this movie is that it's the very best of the aliens franchise movie's and with the heart pounding fear that it's still able to inflict upon me after all these years and it still doesn't disappoint !!!

The audio isn't good, like it was recorded in the back row of the theater. The picture isn't sharp and color contrast isn't good either. This is such a classic it should be treated with more respect. No opening credits either.
