Hi Celeste! I am 68 years old and a fairly new ARMY. I've been listening to BTS's music for a few months and loving all the video content available out there on social media. Now I want to dive into the deep Jungian stuff and the "BTS Universe." I watched your excellent "Blood, Sweat, and Tears" explanation video, which got me hooked. I'd like to know which of your videos I should watch and in what order so that I can get up to speed. Nope. The reason why BTS became huge was they were at the right place at the right time during the boom of wifi, smartphones, and social media around 2016. They were the group that capitalized on the scene when Tiktok was starting, the new IG/FB trends, the 15 second video clips era, and youtubers era where "likes, views, plays, followers" are all that matter to became famous. There are way way more hardworking and talented groups than them. They aren't an exceptional group tbh. It just so happened that their pretty boy looks and gimmicks catered to the US teenagers that time when internet and technology took over. They sell fantasy to them (like all Kpop groups do) and again, it just so happened they came at the right time. If you put BTS on that 2010-2012 era, they'll be completely overshadowed by the likes of Bigbang and Super Junior. It was all luck for them thanks to wifi and internet. Not hating though. Been a kpop fan since 2007 and I'm just stating facts.
