Quit whining. The judges got this right. Malice had this easily. In damage, I give it to Malice, 3-2. Both weapons were disabled, but Shatter’s actually tore off. Also, it was smoking. Shatter thwacking Malice with its hammer arm means nothing since it did no damage, not even a slight amount. Malice also shoved Shatter into the screws, which did some minor damage to Shatter. Those smaller factors after the weapon to weapon hit are what gives Malice the edge. Control goes to Malice, 2-1. Malice was pushing around Shatter most of the time, into the screws and into walls, nearly getting with the pulverizer too. Aggression goes to Malice, 2-1. I wish it could be tied, but that’s not the current format. The tiebreaker here would be the fact that Shatter had to back off and reposition multiple times to try and get control over Malice, who was more aggressive in trying to smother Shatter since they knew their bot had the better drive, and therefore, easier control without as much need to reposition.
