That little room that you were in is an old water cistern. They used to store water inside the house for usage. The hole you see on the wall used to lead to an outside gutter when it rained it would fill up the tank .

The building with the cards displayed used to be a drugstore called Fairies Drug, just to the left in the two vacant buildings was an old 5 and dime. Not sure when either closed but I know it's been quite some time ago. The mosaic flooring you see led to the original general store very similar in design to your recent antique store. The large empty plot directly across the street used to be Big Hill Trading Co. I found some older photos if you're interested, just not sure on how to share them!

That was very interesting, but a lit know creepy. Some of those I thought were real and when the cups on the table started chicken that got me. I enjoy your gentle.😊❤❤

Went to the Madame Tusaud's Wax Museum in Las Vegas years ago. It was pretty cool. Put on a wedding dress and got hitched to George Clooney, then was serenaded by Elvis 😂 We still have payphones at Ford plant, but the receivers are a bit more modern.
