Nice you made video of this great flaslight! I purchased LD12R last bf and ever since I have carried it in my backbag. There should be more discussion about this great dual channel flashlight! I agree there should be mode memory for side led too and in my opinion there should be 6500k and 4000k option to choose. I'm not the biggest fan of cold white, but this light is so great I can live with that 6500k light. V2 might come out in the future, so I'd like to see these improvements, at least the mode memory for both led's. LD12R is great all-rounder and safety for power outages 👌

Just picked up the new PD32R today. Love it so far- thanks for the review on the V2
@Next963007 годин тому
I wouldn't purchase any of them. It's stupid that Acebeam only uses cold temperatures.

Nice piece of kit! Mode memory for the side light and better tint would be welcome improvements. I saw it for $60 USD. Thinking this would be a great gift for brother working in a mechanical field….

This is an Awesome flashlight and one of the best 14500 lights out there imo 1) Hidden water resistant charging port with USB C (IP68) 2) Battery level indicator LED (Green 100%-75% | Flashing green 75%-50% | Red 50%-25% | Flashing red 25%-0%) 3) Magnetic pocket clip that can turn 360 degrees 4) Able to tailstand 5) Floody 100-lumen side light that's perfect for hands-free use 6) AA NIMH compatible The only minor drawback is its slightly larger size, but it's not a dealbreaker.

I have a lot of love for US lights. Surefire, Modlite, Malkoff and Cloud Defensive really have some stellar lights. Can't go wrong with any of them.
@2amichaeljДень тому
Honestly, if these were priced at $200 like clouds MCHs they would be a lot more desirable for me. I put my Modlite heads on my Surefire EDC turbo 18350 and 18650 bodies. I love that combo. It's basically a $200 Modlite now.

Can you do a comparison on zebralight and malkoff for edc admin purposes? I think they are a couple of the most bomb proof edc lights out there

I personally enjoy my tac lights to not be deep carry. I save a lot of time finding a grip on the light (done a lot of tests since I’m a competitive shooter and like that draw practice lol). Obviously I understand its all opinion and majority like the deep carry. Just wanted to throw that out there as another perspective for some!
@EverydayBladeCollector3 дні тому
Good video man thanks 👍 Your videos helped me make my decision on my Surefire EDC2-DFT and I can honestly say I have no regrets. It's hands down the most impressive 18650 flashlight on the market right now. 700 lumens and 100,000 candela (high candela is key for SD) and 650 meters + of throw, it's straight up insane when you look at that paired with the almost 3 hours of runtime. It's my daily carry, it's perfect for me for EDC and SD, and I swapped out the tailcap for the Z68 tailcap to reduce pocket firing so it's even better now 👍 Of all of the lights I own I can say I'm most impressed with the overall feel/build quality of the Surefire. I have Streamlight, Nitecore, Fenix, Acebeam, ect, and when I go for a walk at night there's really one light I need, the surefire on the 25 lumen setting, paired with my Fenix PD25R on my hat it's perfect. I have a lot of lights but I always end up coming back to the PD25R, I just really like the high candela output (for an 18350 it's impressive) and it's very easy to put on a ball cap and pair with a more powerful thrower. If anyone is on the fence about it I can't recommend the light enough, although it costs a pretty penny, it's definitely worth it in my humble opinion.

Has anybody ever used a defense flashlight to fend off an attack from a dog, moose, bear, mountain lion, wolf or any other critter that could take you out. If so, how did it go? Not exactly something that you would practice. If it can stun a human i would think that it would give the critter a moments pause. Would love to read people's thoughts.
@randymorrison55133 дні тому
Why?.. for $3000. I’ll just wait till the sun comes out.
@DanielDan-rg9zw3 дні тому
No way to start straight in moonlight or low, no deal! Unless it's a Nichia between 4000-5000k, then I can make an exception like I did with the Acebeam Pokelit AA!
@DanielDan-rg9zw3 дні тому
Hate memory mode on lights unless, as I said you have a way to go straight in low or moonlight, it's not a tactical light size so I don't care about straight to turbo!

I wish Cloud would make heads and bodies compatible with Modlite and Surefire. It's sure nice taking my Surefire EDC 18650 and 18350 turbos and putting my smaller Modlite OKW and PLH-V2 heads depending on what I want to carry. I can mix and match bodies and even throw them on my rifles with WML light bodies. Hell my Maloff heads work on those too. If Cloud made their heads compatible they'd be at the top.
