As someone below stated, they say it reminds them of The Doors - The End, Santana and a few others. And I totally agree. But I find the strongest influence to the song structure to come from Gino D'Auri! The legendary Spanish Guitarist! The way that it takes you far far away on a long journey. You can't tell if it's dark or light. But it keeps pulling you closer and closer to it. It's warm and inviting, but also a bit sinister and mysterious. It needs you deep inside it's journey. Yet it keeps diving forward. Forward. Ever forward. Until it finally, eventually comes to an end. An absolute masterpiece of musical genius! If you've never listened to the genius that is Gino D'Auri's Epic album Flamenco Mystico, and you love this song, then you OWE it to yourself to listen to it.
