me and my best friend jason would jam foo fighters all the time. we were buddies, room mates, we were brothers for 14 years and we went through crazy shit together. i never had a brother growing up, till i met him. jason killed himself in January, and ive been listening to this song everyday, i dont know why, i think because im trying to find myself again, im learning to walk again. im starting from zero again. i feel so lost. i never thought id continue this journey alone. i dont know where to go, but i know i need to just walk and get somewhere, anywhere but here. man, i miss you so much jason. i think about you everyday, every waking second, you are every intrusive thought i have. i hope you visit my dreams more, i miss talking to you, i miss having a brother. i cant wait to see you again. i dont know what ill do, but im going to learn to walk again and get somewhere, i swear ill make you proud. i love you so much and im excited to meet up again one day.

What a brilliant performance

I cleaned out my step dads house to this song. My mom died of cancer and he just didnt really want anything to do with me anymore and made me do it myself. Over and over i played this song. And i truly dont think anything will ever feel as good as that family i had there. This song has a veey strong feeling to me. A feeling that something is over. A feeling that you want it again but you know you can never have it again. I hope you all get to experience that happiness once in your lives even if its just for a fleeting time. I love you mom.

"Show Me How" is so magical... it sounds like it was made years ago, yet new... absolutely beautiful. Violet's voice blended with Dave is just a gift. Thank you Foo Fighters, what a great album. I also really love "Beyond Me". What a perfect song. Not to forget the epic "The Teacher" and the ethereal "Rest". The heavenly almost deafening distortion in "Rest" is what I imagine what your last moments sound like. Surreal!
