My battery health dropped by 2% within 2 weeks.. Is it normal?

just dont update ios, and u will be fine. with each release, they intentionally degrade your battery, to push u go get a new phone.

As a former iPhone and now current Android user, I can say that the battery life on iOS is just junk in general.

Had my iPhone 15 pro max since late October 7 ish months still at 100 percent at 167 cycles

13 pro, purchased 10/31/21 and charged to full every night. Sitting at 86%

iPhone 14 - it's been like 8 months since my battery health is frozen at 88%

Honestly I think we all are paying too much attention to battery health. I’m at 270 cycles and it’s now at 97%. I think that’s pretty good in my opinion. These things don’t last forever. Just use your device how you want to, as long as it’s not 80% after two months then you’re good.

I’m at 88% with my iPhone 12 Pro Max. I’m not sure why it’s held decently well! I use a battery case and it charges at like 5 W and I usually just charge the case so I can make sure I run the battery to like 20% before charging it!

15 pro max user here, bought mine since last september, mine only has 121 cycle but battery health already dropped to 96%. My daily activities only social media and netflix + youtube. NEVER GAME OR HEAVY VIDEOGRAPHY YET

iOS 17.4.1 is killing my battery. It went from 100 to 97 in a month and I’m starting to notice that loss.

It’s the little things that Apple omit in iOS that makes users want to leave.

I’ve had my 15 pro max for 5 months and I’m still at 100 percent after heavy use. Most of the time I use slow charging. So that might have something too do with it

Today I found a MAJOR workaround to view a certain type of LOCKED hidden photos on iPhone! I submitted a report to Apple but it would be much useful and appreciated if the word was spread around. I will not be giving out access on how to work this bug though!

I must admit I started downloading the 17 betas at the beginning and it wasn’t the smoothest roll out in the world. I’m nervous that 18 will be just as rough of a launch. Hope not tho! My IPhone 12 Pro Max seems to work well on 17.4.1 so I’m not going to update for a while.

After installing beta four, my hotspot sharing toggled on. I turn it off and it keeps toggling back on automatically. Apple tried to help. But after talking with the second person, and restating I was on beta, said I can't help you and report it to apple beta. So I'm stuck in that mode wasting more battery power on my 15 pro max

I’m only a minute in but I disagree completely. I got my phone in September of 2023. There is no reason my iPhone 14 Pro Max should be at 92% battery life. I invested in this phone to have battery all day not half a day.

I’ve had Apple devices since 2011, and Apple has always stood firm on their software, and policies. I don’t like how governments are making them change their policies to make people happy who complain about everything.

Mein vorheriges 14 Pro Max hatte nach 14 Monaten Nutzung 93 % und mein jetziges 15 Pro Max wird da sicherlich ähnlich sein. Aber nach 150 Ladezyklen wird es sicherlich geringer werden und letztlich auf 99 % gehen. Das ist normal. Aber die Batterien bei Apple sind nicht gut. Überhaupt nicht gut. 👎

Hi Aaron, iOS 17.5 beta 4 on 15PM here. Still facing the standby bug as well as poor performance in the weather app. Animations stutter and VISIBLE Promotion refresh rate issues. I placed an iPhone XS running the same version and my 15 PM next to it. I opened weather app and chose a city where it was raining, so I could trigger the rain animated background. I filmed both of them in slowmotion and the XS had the smoothest animations. So that confirms that iPhone 15 Pro does still have some issues regarding ProMotion and/or weather app problems. Unfortunately, most people won’t notice the problem and will think that their devices are working fine, as normal. But this is not the case and Apple should be aware of this.

iPhone 14, 13 months use before the last update with a 99% battery health. 6 weeks after the update, the battery health to 87%. This can’t be normal
