You're channel is amazing. I would love if you came back with new stuff in the future, I mean, it doesn't need to be UKposts videos necessarily. As an editor and artist myself, I know how hard it is to make those fantastic videos of yours. But even if you decide to stop making videos, I wanna thank you for every knowledge and thoughts you shared with everyone for free and with so much care and effort. It really stands out how much you love music. :]

OHMSS. The last perfect Bond film was Goldeneye. Every film since has failed either in music, Opening credits or script.

I have a brother who really wanted a piano, so my mother bought it, but he plays the viola and I play the violin, he's a bit of a beginner, he doesn't practice, so the piano is used practically only by me, this is one of the few songs that I actually want to learn on the piano (I even know how to read bass clef very poorly) Thanks for the video

seems to me like it's very easy to get either lost in the analysis, or like most of the supportive commenters here, lost in their radiohead fanboying. To an average listener, this does not at all inspire Bond quite like it should. I think that the right choices were made.

I still can't believe this song was passed on! On another note, I swear Taylor Momsen/The Pretty Reckless wrote their song 25 as a Bond theme. It sounds like a Bond theme IMO. Idk if it has the specific notes of a Bond theme though.

Thank you for doing this! Instant subscribe. This is my favorite piece of music ever written and has made me emotional for nearly 40 years. A masterpiece in a career full of them, this music has the greatest emotional impact of any score ever written IMO. I really need to buy a copy and try to unravel some of his sorcery. This stuff is next level genius, especially the last 15 minutes 🤯

The best James Bond film music was composed by John Barry. No one else has even come near capturing the spirit of the James Bond films.

Anyone likes Bowie? We all do👩🏼‍🎤, but does anyone else think his Tin Machine's song "Prisoner of love" works as a bond theme, maybe for a spy who loved me situation him falling for an enemy spy, just imagine a 3rd Dalton film with it as theme, since that's around Bowie's tin machine era but don't know which year was prisoner of love made

I was a bit late to this channel and i realise you may be busy elsewhere nowadays, but I can't tell you how much it has come to mean to me over the past year - thank you for deepening my understanding of why certain great music moves us the way it does. I am a songwriter but not a trained one, so your analyses are helping me learn more there too. Thank you so much 🙏🙏

The genius of this song is that it is a simple 4/4 shuffle. No need for this overcomplicated explanation.

Started watching, skipped a bit hoping to hear the song, but like bad local radio the narrator was talking all over it. Anyway, Radiohead haven't produced a decent track since they disappeared up their own fundaments after releasing OK Computer (was one of my favourite albums of all time but can now no longer listen too it because of the utter nonsense they release and speak these days). Thanks to Radiohead I can now understand that bloke who shouted "Judas" at Bob Dylan when he strapped on an electric guitar, the feeling that you have been betrayed. A once great band now so rich they just noodle in studios and moan "you don't get it" when people don't buy their shit any more. Rant over. Love and peace to everyone, even Radiohead.

I just have to disagree with you on the point about jurassic world at the start. The music is used there in a very specific way, rather than try and top seeing a dinosaur for the first time, jurassic world uses the theme to build towards the moment you see the park in full for the first time filled with guests. Rather than building to the moment you see a dinosaur it uses the emotions brought to you by the music to give more impact to the moment you finally see a working Jurassic park. Its used to finally show John Hammonds dream from the first film come to fruition.

Jurassic Park was lightning in a bottle, scripted, directed, acted, produced and of course musically scored perfectly. Hollywood out did themselves with Jurassic Park, they had to have known they would never be able to top it.
