I have the same problem. I'm about to turn 57 but I still have a baby face and no wrinkles and only a few grey hairs. It might seem like an advantage but it's not. People treat me as though I'm much, much younger. They often talk down to me. It's not as good as you think it is.

I don't think it's good to joke about someone with alopecia either. Yes, they're just words but that's irrelevant. I get the same from people, I'm there in my wheelchair, minding my own business and I get some people making fun of me. It happens more than you could imagine. I have MS. I can't help it and I'm being laughed at and made fun of. It makes me feel like disappearing. I think there's a line not to cross when making jokes. Who wants to be the person that makes fun of people with alopecia and MS?. I think both of them were wrong.
