I have a K1C and every time I try and change filament, I hit retract at 220 and wait for it to finish then unlock and pull out, but lately it has been frozen every time o try and remove it as if it was still locked in. I think what it happening for me is that when it heats and extracts the filament I think it is pulling molten pla out and then ramming it back into the barrel of the hot end flattening it out and making it impossible to remove.

New to 3d printing. I relocated my filament spool from the top, down to the side behind the screen. I am waiting for my ptfe tube, but once I get it, the filament sensor and the filament are both on the same side. The ptfe tube guide runs top left to bottom right (as you look at the printer) any recommendations on filament routing to make things not wonky? It's either going to have to not use the guide, take a longer than necessary (and possibly create a pinch point) route behind the printer.

Great video! I bought the V3 as soon as it hit Amazon and it's been hard to find videos that go really in-depth on it like this one does. Pre-ordered your spool stand! Seems like a huge upgrade over the included spool.

I want to purchase your material squaring clips from your video and clicked on the link you provided. In your video the squaring clips were black. The clips shown on your website are green/orange. Why the difference? Also; It shows that the squaring are 2 for $25. The picture shows for clips but I think it is 2 clips per squaring clip. Is that the case, do you get exactly what is shown in the image on your website?

Hi Rod, thanks for the feedback - the colors of the pictures on the website are just so the product is easier to see over top of the black slats. Otherwise the black on black on black makes it tough to see what is going on in the product listing pictures. The actual product is black like in the video. I added this to the product description for clarity. Also, perhaps the name of the product needs some work - I can see what you mean how I've called them "clips" but the "clippy" looking parts (orange on the website) are two per body. Clips was supposed to refer to the whole body/bracket , so when you purchase from the website you get what is seen in the picture. This would be two brackets just like I showed in the video. Maybe I'll change the name to brackets so it would be "2 brackets" and that might be more clear. I appreciate the thoughtful feedback!

Thank you 08:45 was what I needed to replace the print head/hot end assembly on my CR-10smart. I was about to take a rotary tool to the casing so I could unplug the themistor and heater cartridge I bought the last one in my country and couldn't figure out how to get the cover off. I don't do many repairs. I am a user not a tinkerer.. Isn't it funny how much a standard Cr-10smart looks like an original Ender 3 under the hood? Just slight differences. So thank you again for your videos. They have helped me a bunch!

Hello, I'm trying to use your template. They have changed the software a bit so the choices are a little different, BUT my big issue is that when i drag text onto the template, it dissapears. It's like its behind your template. How do I move your template to the back?
@EmbraceMaking
@EmbraceMaking 7 днів тому
If you open the layer menu (the little button in the bottom left corner of the screen that looks like a stack of papers) then you can see the various objects in your workspace. The template will likely be shown as an "image" and the text will be in the list as "text". Click and drag the "image" to the bottom of the list and this is the order of your objects in the workspace from back to front. Let me know if that helps!

Great video, and perfect price point on the products- I have been thinking about designing something just like this, but when yours are already made and one click away… I happy ordered instead! Two suggestions- it would be great if there was a tool-less solution for adjusting the angle of the tilt. Perhaps a longer screw with an adjustment knob instead of the shorter hex bolt? It would also be wonderful to have the ability to fine tune the tilt with the twist of a dial. I’m imagining a lead screw that inserts into a jointed shaft under the chuck. That would let you spin the screw to adjust the angle of the the chuck plus it would be much more stable before tightening things down.

Hello. Really enjoyed and learned a lot from your Ender 3 V 3 video. I ordered the spool stand. Could you explain how to configure Orca slicer to wirelessly network with my Ender 3V3? I was able to get Creality print to communicate with my printer with the IP address. I’ve put in the printer IP address into the Orca network page, but they are not communicating. I’m a complete beginner to all of this. Thank you in advance.

I've had this printer for a while and there is one thing I started doing that totally enhanced how well my print jobs go. Periodically coat to outer edge of the nozzle with thermal grease or olive oil. Be it humidity or what, this prevented filament from collecting and curling around the nozzle. Extended my nozzle life dramatically. Nothing drastic, just lightly use a Q-Tip to apply it and my prints have been so much more reliable ever since.
@ragnarlindell7447

is the "metal grease" that came with the printer something i can use?
@TheSolidMental
@TheSolidMental 6 годин тому
@@ragnarlindell7447 you can but I would go more with an oil. The grease eventually dries out and leaves a residue and becomes clumpy. 3 in 1 oil, olive oil or even vegetable oil will work, just lightly coat the exposed edge of the nozzle and the bottom of the rubber cover. In all honesty, since I started doing that, I have not had a single misprint and comfortable leaving the house and letting it print while Im at work.
