When I think of Dubai, I can't help but see it as a ruined capital, abandoned of everything in 20 or 30 years' time. The level of emptiness, false values and injustice is as high as its very existence contradicts all the principles that preside over the creation of a city (proximity to water, architecture shaped by primary needs, etc.) A bombastic materialization of greed and all the excesses that go with it, which naturally cannot last forever.

I was once in Dubai and found it absolutely horrible. Almost everything there (except the old part of course) has been built over the last 20 years and with the lack of organic growth, everything looks so artificial, kinda surreal.. The city is not walkable (as I am used to, being from Europe) and the taxidrivers (often work together with mall-bouncers who assign taxis to tourists) are often scammers. This city has literally no soul and I can imagine how the people are, that are somehow impressed by such a lowkey place. Never ever again.

During a pandemic it's not only unprofessional for celebretes to go contrary to medical advice of the vast majority of the health care experts but their words can cost the lives of their fans . Even his criticism of Covid vacines, that saved millions of lives, is terrible. Have to wonder what percentage of Joe Rogan fans died because they took his medical advice? Doctors aren't perfect. They make mistakes .Nevertheless when a bunch of doctors says take xzy as treatment..... you take it. Recently we just had a stopover at Dubai airport, but when we arrived at our final destination, all our luggage were tempered and one of them had the locks deliberately damaged. We noticed that our luggage were opened. Apart from a few items such as my wife's hair band and her face cream were missing, we didn't lose any other things. We made a complaint to the security office at the airport of our final destination and they told us that we were not the only ones. There were many others who had similar experiences when they stopped over at Dubai airport. Unlike in America, I had my luggage opened once by their custom security at the airport, however, they put a notice on my luggage without damaging the locks and told me that the American custom had opened my luggage for inspection. This was cool, not only I didn't lose anything but as least I was respected. Unlike with the Dubai custom at their airport, which was disrespectful and caused my luggage locks being damaged without any notifications. I told my wife that we will never visit Dubai, let alone even to stopover there again. I hope no one will ever have to experience what we have again.
