Was working out in the woods and came across a stand of old growth(mostly Douglass and white fir w/ some ponderosa pine). It was like being on a different planet. The trees were very wide at the bottom(similar to redwoods but not quite as tall) . Some had died and broken in half and fallen over, so you had giant jagged stumps some over 100' tall. It was just a small area that for some reason had never been logged. Weird to see a place that had no sign of being touched by humans other than a path.
