It’s crazy bc ALL of these artists are actually my girls🫶🏾 love them all and am so proud of them, esp. Normani and Sabrina🥹 Normani finally being able to out her debut album in June - I honestly don’t have the words! We’ve come so far! She deserves all the success, happiness and peace in the world for the hell she’s been through. I love 1:59 - it’s sonically gorgeous. The vocal performance and production is EVERYTHING. Would I have chosen it as the lead single? No. I don’t think it has the punch and the GP appeal a song needs to be a strong lead single. (Candy Paint was right there!) however that takes NOTHING away from the QUALITY of the song. she’s eating the R&B girlies UP! I wish she had shot a music video and I wish she was promoting it more. The promotion rn is giving promo single, and Nation now thinks that Candy Paint is going to be the true lead single. And Sabrina going #1 on US, UK, and Global Spotify and debuting top 10 on the hot 100 with Espresso?!? As a Disney era fan that’s been here from DAY 1, I could only DREAM of this in the past. This is now her biggest hit (even though Feather is still SMASHING on radio and charts). So unbelievably proud and happy for her - I can’t think of any other artist right now who deserves it more! She’s the epitome of a talented non problematic artist. Her career is the epitome of hard work for many years and pure talent suffering due to label mismanagement and lack of promotion. It’s crazy bc if she had the team and label she has now back in 2016, she definitely would have blown up years ago - especially in 2018-2019 with the Singular era. And yes justice for bet u wanna! It was supposed to be thee summer 2022 hit! As for Tinashe, I thought I was unhealthily obsessed with Needs! I have a whole other level of obsession with Nasty! It’s not just the catchy lyrics over the dance beat. It’s the vocal and production choices, esp. the harmonies on the prechorus😩 “if you do it too good, iiiiii just might get attached!” AHHHH IT’S SO GOOD! Literal candy for my ears! So impressed with the music she’s put out since going independent. But the question at the end of the day is, is somebody gonna match her freak? 😅 Leigh Anne, the VERSATILE pop R&B artist you are😭 I’m so obsessed with her! The way Stealing Love makes me throw my body to the side when that beat comes in on the chorus😩 so far she’s 3 for 3 when it comes to HITS! Don’t Say Love and My Love were both masterpiece singles and deserved so much more.

Yeah cause Looze U is that girl Honestly that song with backflip could’ve rather had Brandy or Usher (especially bc it samples Usher who samples another song) They would’ve probably brought something good to the table Also I’m so glad I have not seen Usher with that thing in so long😭❤️

One thing about labels they are going to force girls to make a song with backflip to try and clean up his image to make him seem like he supports women but then when they come out and say it was the label he cusses them out and shows his true colours Like get him away from the industry.
