The spider within was made by an initiative to give up and coming filmmakers a chance to showcase themselves. The entire direction was done by people of color, all of which were selected because they are people who are trained and ready but just need that opportunity to show. Glad they tackled mental health. The program involves films that were "already in the pipeline" and they were working on spider verse at the time

I have never played the game, and was worried I wouldn’t get it going in but I had a good time with this movie as a comedic take on medieval fantasy films. A lot of the humour and jokes hit for me, the action was fun, and I enjoyed the characters. I appreciated that the movie was very accessible to a new comer like me and happy I walked out with a smile on my face. Great review!

I agree! I too have no D&D background and it was pretty fun. Feels like this was the tone Thor Love & Thunder tried for and failed to achieve.

I JUST walked out of seeing it myself. It was so much fun, and if I was a kid seeing this it would have easily been a favorite movie of mine.
