Hitting kids isn’t parenting. It’s actually a persons direct inability to know how to parent. If you spank or hit your kids, you’re not disciplining them. That actually takes work. It’s easy to get frustrated, act like a baby, and hit them. That isn’t parenting. You’re Not a good parent if you hit/spank, honestly. And it’s sad because it’s a direct neglect for the kid. You don’t love them enough to work hard and actually teach them discipline and respect. It’s sad that people still think it’s acceptable. I honestly think most know it’s not, they just pretend it is and use that generational nonsense as an excuse, because it’s easier than admitting “I’ve been a bad parent. I haven’t loved my child enough. I’ve neglected teaching my child respect and discipline”
