OpenSource Chips in The 1990's, Early 2000's Would've Made This World A Good One! Instead, Influence Through Information Technology Was Left In Some Very Few Hands! Congratulations For Your Achievements, I Am Convinved I Too Could've Achieved Your Results Had My Life Not Been So Complicated By Bad People, Nevertheless I Am Joyous I Discovered Through My Own Work Entire Existential Truth!

Seen this video before but it really a great history. The thing about velocity of the beam was change due to black white level, must have been some fiddle. Wonder about it was a special camera there was used in the other end.

I hate when journeyman try to explain things simply while using terminology the average person doesn't understand.

"white noise backup alarm": some countries (maybe the whole EU?) require these staticy noise back up alarms on work trucks, because they decided the beeping kinds weren't working because the jobsite has a bunch of them and you cant tell how far or which direction they are when there are all going at the same time. Noise is easier to tell the direction of supposedly.

Hello, I want to send phones to you in china for repairs. Then you can return them after the repairs and payment. Lets communicate and see how to arrange that. Thank you

Had a VIC-20 and 64, but the 128 would of sent me over the moon. It fixed a lot of the things I was bumping my head against on the 64. But then the 64 fixed a lot of problems you bumped your head against on the 20. I ended up blasting past and skipping the 128 and Amiga, leaving the past behind, and getting a Croesus Nirvana computer that blew everything else by a Mac II / IIfx out of the water... a Macintosh SE with 20gb hd with Hypercard installed. Holy smokes. Pirated an entire software store of it's Macintosh software, including for me yet another holy grail.. a copy of Microsoft compilable Quickbasic for the Macintosh. I was off and running.

I have that CBM 8032, albeit with an intact screen. Sad to see what happened to the Commodore offices. Everyone can identify a VT-100 from the back ;-)

This is an amazing video. It shows concretely how transistors physically work to form the logic gates that are used for calculations.

You should change the video title to cover the talks actually in the video, not just one of them. Please!

The AWACS radar processor had the entire backplanes of multiple 19" x 6' racks all done in wire wrap. At least for the prototype and I think maybe in production.

Hello People! and Matt! I can somewhat get around the ASM code and seeing how it works, but I cannot wrap my head around the passcode on the "variables-example" exercise. I tried RE-ing with the sourcecode and even tried printing the values of the results, but I still do not know what to input in the terminal as the keyword. Anyone have a tip for this?

Why do you have to be an "evil mad scientist"? What wrong with just being a computer scientist?
