The thing is, the UK has to trade with the EU, but the EU doesn't need to trade with the UK. It seems that this hasn't been understood.

Labour cannot do anything about Brexit. It is up to the EU, and right now the UK is too divided, no point in even applying when there's no social and political agreement about it. Even now a very generous offer from the EU to reciprocally open opportunities to young people 18-30 years old for up to 4 years, which is NOT freedom of movement by any means, was Brexitised by both main parties. In the meanwhile, a treaty forcing the UK to take products from much lower standards countries is presented as a success. No, of course the EU thinks the UK is not reliable, it doesn't even meet entry requirements. So no point on any politician talking about rejoining. The UK is not worthy at this point.

Great Britain is no longer Great. It is part of Europe and has always been. Remember all the wars fought fighting against and for Europe. There is no separation.

Oh please Mr starmer isn't taking this country back into the EU, he wants to make Brexit work! Whether he says that in order not to divide the country again or he thinks Brexit is the good thing for this country 😉

Brilliant investigation and film. Can’t help wondering that if this traces back to “technology providers”, whether there isn’t a large amount of data mining going on, that might lead back to a state operator…

Hopefully the U.S. can make some major change in domestic manufacturing. The U.S. was at the height of innovation, income, and satisfaction when U.S. manufacturing was at its peak. People could buy a new house, a car, and send their children to college on a single salary because the middle class was backed by strong U.S. manufacturing. This is the reason things "aren't built like they used to" because we outsourced everything to third world countries with poor quality control, but rock-bottom prices. Now it's blowing up in our faces.

It's not the Gulf nations/states; it is & has always been the "Persian Gulf." It is expected from reputable media like FT to use the correct names and phrases in its narratives.

27:00 Where is the World today and can USA stop others is a question, but more is USA sanctioning US out of tomorrow technology and the future. Make note: China did same in 1850 about the western world.. it ended up with China’s Century of Humiliation. China learn it's lesson. Today one should ask, US Wolf Amendment Act of 2011, how is it coming along. China secret, Deng Xiaoping famously said "It doesn't matter whether a cat is black or white, as long as it catches mice."

After Joe Biden 2022 push back chip back USA w/restriction to China, Intel 2024 lost 7 billions $$$ alone, now having design, manufacturing restriction to China PRC. Since 2022, thanks to USA action, China now design, make 7nm chip for their OEM. China 2025 will no longer need TSMC, ASML nor Intel for their OEM suppliers. Joe Biden just cut US out of China 7 Trillions $$ yearly supplies chain to the world. China still 78% the OEM supplier worldwide compare to US 12%. Thanks Joe

My family decided to leave the USA in 2021. If it wasn’t for Brexit, the UK would have been one of the top contenders for a new home. However, after seeing all this play out, we understood it wasn’t even an option. We now live in Germany and are learning German. Wife is a doctor and I’m an engineer, and we are way happier than living in the US. And this video is one feather in a cap that shows that we were right not to jump onto a sinking ship, the UK.

These people who believe that we can be carbon neutral are not very bright really. If you remove co2 from the atmosphere we are all dead. The earth is greener because of co2. If you do remove it from the atmosphere, then all that money you are being paid to push this crap, will not save you from the earth becoming a giant snowball. Think about it

And I think was she said about companies setting up businesses in Amazon is wrong. Try buying a knife from there and most are essentially fronts shipping Chinese made knifes. This happens with sooooo many product categories. Temp is just cutting out the fake branding and the costs giving the consumer a better experience
