I also worked in lockdown facilities for young boys, age 12 to 18. Yet for myself when girls got older, they seemed more reactive. It was always easier to just be with a young boy, and handle his outburst, than it did to do the same with a young girl or teen. Boys were always easier, and women more negatively impacted. . I went on to study psychology, I am not a doctor, but the fascination of human psyche drove me to get my masters. No child should get to choose or have this chosen for them until they are a reasoning adult. Adolescence is a time of turmoil . I have a transgender friend, and she had always chosen feminine. She got to choose this for herself at 30. So I am not against surgery, I am against children making a decision before their logic and reasoning part of their brain has formulated..
