An excellent video and account of this Operation, thank you. And thank you to the brave men that undertook this incredible feat of bravery, skill, and determination. Never to be forgotten.

Nice propaganda to motivate troops , prior to the ongoing slaughter

All that death and destruction just to end up where we are today. So pointless.

I was drawn to this because the Battle of Passchendaele means so much to us in New Zealand- October 12th 1917 was single greatest loss of life in our nation’s history. In addition I have family living in Abbots Langley, and I will share this wonderful video with them. It brought tears to my eyes… thank you.

At that point yes, but the foothold and pontoons had both been secured by then...

OUTSTANDING. 82nd Airborne vet here. Once a paratrooper always a paratrooper no matter what country.

What a tremendous waste of thousands of young lives, as was much of the entirety of the great war, although thats simply a massive misnomer. Excellent video, Bravo Zulu on doing such a great job.

Unfortunately, there were tens of Oradour-sur-Glane in eastern Europe. The SS division that entered the village had "a good training" of massacre activities...it took place a couple of days After the D day...some german troops were sent from the russian front to France in order to cut the road of the allies...before, the people of Oradour had nearly never seen german army, even regular army...

The videos are excellent chaps, keep them coming. I've just returned from taking a school group to Ypres, and even with a guide it's hard to convey the tragedy of these events.
