Hi David, I found your channel years ago from the Schwinn Cadillac resto, still one of the best on YT. I also TIG, and for my tungsten I just use a disc grinder with a dedicated diamond wheel (only used for tungsten) and I chuck up my tungsten in a driver drill. I hold as needed to get a fresh grind at any angle needed. It's pretty quick and with a little practice easy to get good angles. Does this tool do anything to make that easier or better? Maybe more consistent? Cheers

When Glenn Miller sings G1s, is he using subharmonics? If not, how is he making the note? What's the difference between how he makes his notes and how you do it?

Are you able to do a video in which you demonstrate the difference between how a "subharmonic" note sounds and how a modal/"chest" note mixed with vocal fry sounds. As a bass, I sing down to a C2 or B-flat in clean modal voice, then from B-flat I'd be mixing fry gradually in, reaching a G1 with reasonable resonance. Then from the F# the amount of fry starts getting too much and the pitch gets indistinct. But who needs to sing below a G1 anyway? If it's low enough for Glenn Miller it's low enough, right? But in what I'm describing I don't experience any "octave flip". I just sing down and blend chest and fry, keeping as much chest in the sound as possible if I want quality. The way you describe what you're doing makes it sound very different (though I'm not sure the vocal tone sounds all that different - other than yours sounding nicer than most people's).

Why would I find a woman who have voice like a man like me attractive? Of course she put me off immediately. I love women to speak in feminine lady voice as a sign of female attractiveness.

Normally when you inspire you draw the vocal cords closer and the muscles are tensed and drawn in, since the larynx elevates. So for me to hit c6-c7 I can only hit these notes on ingressive phonation.! When you inhale and make high-pitched, screechy noises, known as ingressive phonation, the mechanics of your vocal cords change. During inspiration, the larynx rises, and some muscles tense up, causing the vocal cords to tighten and stretch differently than during normal exhalative singing. This tension allows for the production of higher pitches, which is why you might be able to hit notes like C6 during ingressive phonation. However, this technique is not standard in singing due to the strain it can place on the vocal cords and the less desirable sound quality it produces for most vocal styles. It's also not as controlled or sustainable as the sound produced during regular singing.

I’m a tenor and I can only hit very high notes with ingressive phonation like c7 altho it sound like a seal asphyxiating that then whistles so going so low is super amazing, I can’t do low notes with this technique.
