I loved that you showed the design process. Please release the course!! I'd pay money for it
@Paulobrrs12 годин тому
I would love a video about your updates on this machine. What's wrong, what's not good. What you do to fix it... Simplified it and all that stuff Good job

народ годами переводил боуден на директ, чтобы улучшить качество, уменьшить время печати ТС поставил на К1 боуден.... ВТФ???

Great work. Don't listen to the negative comments. Those people have never done anything innovative.

Where can I signup for the Beta Test bro? 🤔

I just thought of this idea, And you beat me to it .👍 I was thinking tank tracks ,more traction . Maybe brushless motor is instead of stepper motors for extruder would be lighter and more accurate with an encoder
@Tampsey2 дні тому
whats the blue stuff you put on the screws?
@properprintingДень тому
That's Loctite threadlocker that prevents the screws from going loose while it's still possible to unscrew them.
@Tampsey2 дні тому
what a beast u are
@bennyweimer23452 дні тому
I think the reason it warps so much is because the lip on the edge heats up less so as the main part heats and expands the lip doesnt get as hot and thus doesn't expand so much. So it warps it
@joachimprinsen2 дні тому
where you from? you have a dutch accent
@liviopenta67392 дні тому
Just one question: why don't you show the print result at the end of the video?
@haylspa2 дні тому
weirdly I thought I seen this video over a year ago

I dig the LTT screw driver
@UmbraAtrox_3 дні тому
First i read the title, almost didn't click because of the clickbait, then i read the channel, realizing this will be good. Edit to make the comment constructive: "this simple" -> "ultralight bowden", would have clicked 10 days ago.
@monberg20003 дні тому
Nice video. But I have no idea what you just made - except that it looks like two 3d printers merged. I hope you make a video that shows the potential of the machine...

Do you have an allergy to brass?
@properprinting3 дні тому
No, the brass is allergic to me😆 The fingerprints get dark quickly and make the surface look uneven and ugly.
@waleedmohamed5054 дні тому
amazing very hard work
@Repkord5 днів тому
I find the machine chosen to prototype the parts for your prototyping machine to be somewhat telling. It seems that you already have a really great prototyping machine 😜
@properprinting4 дні тому
These are machines for the real and final parts😉

Isn't that an LTT screwdriver?
@vantyto5 днів тому
theoretical upgrade, if you had these extruders on single arm (on each side 1), then they can go over each other during printing. so one extruder can go on other side.
@appa6096 днів тому
This is just two 3d printers bolted together

"Is this something I would like the see?" Ummm, YES! I like to see all your videos! Your method of creating is very informative and inspirational. Adding Fusion/design methodologies to the mix would be cool!

A extruder with the cost of half of the printer……😂…priceless!

Bro that is a drill press not a mill. It is going to 1. destroy you tooling 2. destroy its self
@JoelDeGan7 днів тому
I know this was just a fun project, but this is a misapplication of springs. The spring bent over the angle is going to have all kinds of problems as this type of spring are not meant for wrapped/bent use. If you want springs like that, they are called torsion springs and there are online calculators to determine what strength you need, but there are reasons they are seldom used for this purpose. You also are giving up almost all of the leverage/lifting power you would otherwise gain with these springs. A quick google for "lamp springs", "torsion springs" and "desk clamp stand" all should help with normal spring placement.

I dont know how you only have 100k subscribers. Your projects are always entertaining and thought-provoking. Almost every video you do, I think to myself "why have I never thought of that?"

I have no idea what half of what you said means, but I'll be damned if this wasn't one of the coolest videos I've seen this year! It definitely inspired me to get off my butt and learn the lingo. You kick ass!

You are an engineering genius. Bravo. Keep working and don't give up. Some company out there should know your number to give you even more resources to make this work and get it to market.

Back to the bowden... very smart? Nope.
@haroldvanveldhuizen95258 днів тому
Heb er ook een hoop problemen mee gehad, ik had preorder versie maar is uiteindelijk netjes opgelost door hun door hem in te wisselen voor recente versie (die van mij lekte aarde)
@haroldvanveldhuizen95258 днів тому
Gaaf man!
@romanlanger22958 днів тому
Upgrade achieved by replacing linear bearings with aluminium profile with wheels? Hmm... 🙄
@properprinting8 днів тому
Now it fits most extruders, which is a bigger advantage than the slight disadvantage of that linear rail

Why not 2 separate printers? KISS principles is not only for the software engineering, is basically for any engineering.
@JoelDeGan8 днів тому
dude.. I'm glad you don't edit out the mistakes... real engineers spend a lot of time looking for dropped screws and winging it by milling down things to get them to fit. One question, what truss system did you use? I am looking around on printables and they look "okay" but I am doing a project and want to use those instead of regular aluminum profile as they look so good. +1 subscriber here.
@hippopotamus869 днів тому
So the K1 doesn't have direct drive extruder? I guess it's not as similar to a P1S as I thought.
@properprinting8 днів тому
It has, but I removed it!
@hippopotamus868 днів тому
@@properprinting Right I see now. Thanks.
@TwoMarlboro9 днів тому
It's nice, but what is the point? Why not place two printers side by side?
@Vzgrev.9 днів тому
Everyone: we need smaller extruders and motors, input shaping and others features because bowden sucks. Someone on youtube: under extrusion!? - Bowden is excellent idea! 🤦
@properprinting9 днів тому
You really thought this through 😅

Glad to along for the ride.... hats off one of the best channels on youtube.
