My favourite technique! I have been drilling this a lot as a method to train my hands to follow through with all my forward throws. Especially helpful for Tai Otoshi.

excellent warm-up training
@ronin2167Рік тому
Most of these are warm up exercises not techniques. They can be very valuable but the title to the vid is misleading.

5:40 how will this make me better at grappling? This is the main issue I have with most martial arts. There's so much garbage built-in that is there due to inertia and legacy that is a complete waste of time. Even boxing, arguably the most effective martial art of all time, is guilty of this. A speedbag makes zero sense... and so does half the training in boxing... which is basically "how to throw a punch"... when in reality what makes you an good boxer is footwork, not how good you throw the punches.
@ppietras97Рік тому
Cardio, stamina, functional strength, conditioning There’s a lot more to fighting than just knowing technique and throwing a punch. You need to be in top shape or you won’t make it to the end of the fight or won’t have any power.

How many tatami mats do u need to do all that? That looks very expensive. Unfortunately there's no judo club around here...
