😂 man, 3 days ago I *just finished my first campaign"* and I 100% agree. I just had to leave a save there. Bro, even though I had Lae with me my entire first blind run, it wasn't until I stumbled upon the store randomly did it start to click I might be onto something that pertained to the hammer. Holy shit though; I didn't expect a guide on how to travel to a layer of the Hells. I was like "wait what???" " I knew this store was different!!!" My characters were like "yeah haha...no way any of this demon shit could be real right??...wait right?? 🧐" doing passive checks and I kept thinking 🤔 hold up....what if this is really a fucking Devil store. This blew Gales long awaited conversation with his ex out the water because I liked Gale; he was like my bro in the story in my head. I didn't want him to succumb to being an absolute dolt thinking too far ahead of himself with ambition; so I was at peace knowing he came back Anointed in Splendor. Thinking okay, "it cannot get any more fucking epic than Gale having that 1v1 with his ex and really being honest to her which allows her to really explain everything". Him coming back from that audience all proud and utterly humbled to his real destiny was a big part of my first campaign. But nah......when we got to the House, I had an immediate sense of dread. The atmosphere, just knowing you are literally in a layer of Avernus, the cascading green souls flowing throughout the House, the damned souls trapped there to bark, watch endlessly, feel like they were going to spontaneously combust dorever, or just watch a bucket filled with shit/piss really set the tone of a place *I should never be* willingly. *Spoiler* I love that the skeleton housekeeper in the main dining room is super chill and is just like "yo...you guys should probably get outta here this shit is serious". Going further, if you talk to him more you realize this was a soul that was linked to Ketheric and he simply wished for Keths death and failure; which you can inform him about and he is just finally happy for a brief moment trapped in Hell. I think he says something like "Finally!!! My soul can smile!!" while shaking his bones happily to the sky. Made me feel a tiny bit good to let someone/something feel nice for just a brief moment in their eternal torment. Then, when I finally get the Hammer, I start thinking to myself I am being ultra sneaky despite everyone laughing and leaving: "🤔 well shit I don't see Raph we just might make it gu- holy fuck it's him he's here and pissed beyond measure" 😂. What a memorable experience, and it made me feel good knowing I did it blind because I wasn't even expecting that. Like, I had a feeling he was someone you could fight but not like that. That shit was crazy. It made the entire end seem like it was on the backburner because holy shit bruh you just fought a Devil and beat his ass. Who gives a shit about these smart octopus guys ?? 😂 As someone who just experienced it for the first time a couple of days ago, man I *still* can't stop thinking about how epic that was blind. 😊
