How wonderful to put a face with the voice. Hello from St Louis...I love love your stories and the crew for putting such good stories together!! I started with the bakery a few months back and fell in love with the presentation and your voice. I only listen now to your podcast to go to sleep. Thank you again and to your staff...nighty night 😚

It was once the world’s largest restaurant chain, serving 800,000 people a day. It was Horn & Hardart, and its cavernous, waiterless establishments represented a combination of fast-food, vending and cafeteria-style eateries. These restaurants, with their chrome-and-glass coin-operated machines, brought high-tech, inexpensive eating to a low-tech era. Making their debut in Philadelphia in 1902, just up the street from Independence Hall, and reaching Manhattan in 1912, Horn & Hardart Automats became an American icon, celebrated in song and humor. With their uniform recipes and centralized commissary system of supplying their restaurants, the Automats were America’s first major fast-food chain.

Thank you for sharing part of your own sleep struggles with us. Your voice and cadence are perfect. Additionally the restful breathing exercises at the start are a big help. I appreciate you. ❤

Erm... for the first time ever, I have to say this was not a good story. So many cringy things it actually kept me awake. My final eyeroll came after the princess was magically in love with the creeper who'd been peeping on her and watching her sleep. Ugh...

Love your vids! Every single time I fall asleep it’s in the first 2 minutes! It’s so relaxing that I’m pretty sure that when I fall asleep, there’s a smile on my face! Anyways, can you make a cross country or track one next?

Wonderfully written and narrated! I like that this story is relaxing as well as educating - I really enjoyed the little bits of information about the different plants etc. 🙏😇

Thomas always hosts, and it sucks. Why cant the narrator do the intro? In this case, the narrator is TK and his voice is absolutely soothing! The worst part is the writers describing the scents and tastes of food and drinks. I doze off for a few minutes when TK starts the story, then I wake up and raid the fridge! Eating is conrary to restfully sleeping.

One moment please. India is not about the land of crescent or mosques. India has a very distinct Hindu identity .Please do not try and obliterate that. We are known as the land of Ram Krishna and Shiva. Check out our Ram mandir in Ayodhya. Thanks

I think mormons come off particularly weird, more than the others, because the actively attempt to force it onto others. Same as Joho’s. I have NEVER been approached by any of the other religions.

38 get about 4 hours of sleep a night, been on every sleep medication on the market, otc, sleep studies, emdr. Some people just aren’t meant to sleep well, no matter how bad it affects their lives, I’ve come to accept that. So, if you’re complaining about only getting 6-7 hours of sleep, be grateful you get that
