This may be useful in a mild prototyping environment or in an educational environment. Otherwise, the PCB companies have made them so cheap that I don't see why one would do this. I have been interested in the machine, however, I now feel different.

That's beautiful. That's amazing to see. The result is surely top notch. But... it takes forever to do... so a big no no... unfortunately.

3300+ with no TAX and with not shiping for 14cm pcb when we can get 1 pcb almost same size at the price of 1$ and it is better quality, you can throw money out of window it is the same, or you can buy laser to do the same job with better accuracy no calibration. no drills, bigger pcb and 1/3 of price.

Love it ALL......but get a LASER in there and you don't worry about changing BITS or the mess. I'll add a $90 laser to my 3018 and I won't need to spend the 3K for this machine. Either way, nice job. WEGSTR: Time to lower the price on these things. A 3018 is $180 and a laser is $90.......Videos show AWESOME results with $2000 LESS......before the business disappears, might be best to join the LASER crowd and lower that price already!

На любом нормальном чпу можно так делать, но выбирать медь гравером 0.1 или 0.2 - это дохрена ЧАСОВ, имейте в виду. Ролик писать - это одно, а жужжать 5-6 часов даже для небольшой платки немного другое ) если под dip компоненты и гравер 0.5 справляется по точности - сойдет, гораздо быстрее. Ну а так прикольно конечно, я делал несколько платок на чпу - и гравирует и дырявит и отпиливает, только инструмент меняй (вот бы еще автомат смены инструмента недорогое маленький придумать), дырявить и выпиливать по контуру можно одной фрезой-кукурузой 0.8-0.9, т.е. два инструмента достаточно, но если smd и тонкие дорожки лучше основную выборку меди делать толстым гравером ~0.5, а сами дорожки гравером 0.1-0.2 - это все можно, но возни больше. Возни вообще много с этим способом, ну т.е. много личного времении уходит на подготовку годного g-кода со сканом поверхности, резом и т.п. даже без учета времени работы станка, одну платку быстрее лутом сделать и дисковой пилой выпилить.

Cool machine, but very expensive for most users/makers.

The thing should also be able to cut a solder paste mask. Apply solder paste > place components > melt solder with hot air iron > apply additional solder where needed.

Still way too overpriced for most people. There are competing products out there.

Nobody cares about having a 'professional' prototype. Milling off the solder mask is just dumb, you have a cnc machine that can make a uv mask for the pads.
