These tournaments were some of the most bullshit events worms has ever seen. The organizers would just give out awards to friends and well known members of the community. I remember disconnecting in the middle of a 3-way final due to internet outage - instead of giving me the 3rd place, they just straight out booted me and let someone else play the final in my place.

I remember this one! This is game #108134 on TUS. It's not complete without the hilarious dialogue between Avirex and Shyguy in chat, they were literally doing stuff on their own without much cooperation :D
