I don't often wade in, but this is one of the more disgusting abuses of power that I have witnessed in recent times. There's no doubt in my mind that the "officer" (aka bully boy thug) in question should be charged with assault and immediately relieved from duty. As I say, I don't often wade in, but on this occasion if Mr. Menzies pursues legal action (and I hope that he does) I would be very happy to make a financial contribution towards his legal fees. As Canadians, we should all be ashamed when we witness such dreadful behaviour.

I Wish *virtual_cyberlab* came out with this back in November. It would have saved me a lot of grief and money. Not only me but to many victims out there But I will say that sometimes they can be subtle about the relationship and the investment opportunity side of things..

I am a dual citizen with a home base in nyc...i come back every 6 months to see family & check on a business...how is it that i can produce my license to get a rental car if this cop says you cant drive
@OUTNABOUTwithYoursTrulyLIZZOC14 годин тому
WOW! Well I won’t be visiting Georgia and I don’t even know how to drive a car! Getting reimbursed isn’t enough, she should have sued for more! That would cause post traumatic stress on someone! The police officer should be stripped of her title. Was she a rookie cop! They need to retrain their police officers! 😤

Hire a Georgia Lawyer. File a million dollar lawsuit against the office and the parish/township and the state for emotional distress and hardship. I wouldn’t accept an apology or just the refund of my money for a bond.

Whenever you travel anywhere outside of your country of origin you need to have your passport with you!! In the case of Canada and Mexico we have an agreement that you can possess a passport card which allows you re-entry and identification in that foreign country! THe legal system failed her if they did not let her make a call for a lawyer or anyone that could help. In most all states they allow for 2 phone calls which would include a lawyer - also, if she did not make bail then she would have had to see a judge or magistrate within 48 hours. So her statement about denial of calling the consulate and her claim that she would have had to wait for 3 months to get before the court were false!!

She was normally treated the way most Americans would undoubtedly treat her. That cop represents most of us here. Like an alien or invador in our land. We're so full of it!! Contrary to the way we're treated in most of the world when we travel, we for the most part, treat people from other countries like $÷/+

It my experience, Canadians get pulled over more often. I have heard of several instances where Canadians have driving with the flow of traffic maybe 3 to 5 K over the speed limit, and the only one who gets pulled over is the Canadian. I realize that even 1.8 to 3 MPH is still speeding but only Canadians seems odd. Then, there is Jackpot, Nevada wheee they wait at the edge of town where the speed limit goes from 75 to 35. Slow down well before.

My father was stopped near Valdosta, GA decades ago for speeding on I-75, taken to court and the judge ordered him to pay $100 or spend 30 days in jail. He paid the $100. He sent a letter to the governor and received an apology back and explanation that that state was trying to stop these small town arrests and charges by local authorities. So this crap has likely been going on for decades.

Stories like this concern me and question everyone's motives.Several years ago my car was hit by an um-licensed um-documented driver. I called the local authorities and there solution was to call the owner of the car and have me trade insurance information with them. The driver of that car walked, but this girl was thrown in jail ????? I guess she was never charged with speeding? I guess there are a few questions....I cant think of too many things that are not being said in the video that could justify her being jailed..

The police officer was a woman, and women can never be wrong. She became a cop, because she wanted the badge, the gun, the coply power.
