The West painstakingly tried to rehabilitate the image and reputions of commanders of the savage werhmacht commanders ever since like Model, but it remains the same : They were big time criminals much like their dear and psycho fuhrer.

The child's white chalk outline as a "great work of art" is as fake as the fake fantasy that Russian police are not corrupt at the very top that cleared the ones forced to do an illegal investigation because all the other cops in his districts were corrupt. These Russian propaganda fake false melodramas are as fake as the American films of the 1900's that glorified family and children and love and honesty; lulling the American masses and dumbing them down WHILE AT THE SAME TIME ALL CHRISTIAN ETHICS AND MORALS WAS BEING POLLUTED AND POISONED AND DESTROYED. The same thing is happening to Russia now what happened to America in the last 100 years and it is being done the exact same way: By brainwashing and dumbing down the Russian masses with this fantasy fairytale sh*t.

As a child of this generation I cry in these scenes from all the stories I grew up hearing through out my childhood, teens, young adulthood, adulthood, and now as a senior and still hear. I do WW2 interviews of elders in my area. My most interesting interviews were a D-Day Vet from Utah Beach and a Hitler Youth. My neighbor growing up survived the Japanese Theater. I was 5 when he showed him his war album of dead Japanese Bonzai soldiers being heaped into a mass grave with bulldozers by the American Army. It's a miracle what this generation lived through in all countries that participated in WW2.

Historians were always interested in piecing together as much of the whole picture concerning WW2, the most devastating war humanity has ever seen. The Soviet Union wasn't exactly forthcoming or completely honest about what happened, nor were they (the Soviet State) all that interested opening up their military and government records for access to the western historians. The Cold War didn't really make it easy to share potentially sensitive inner workings, demographics, casualties, tactics, policies, or difficulties either. Additionally, there's the problem with Soviet historian censorship by the state. So, imagine trying to verify the veracity of said information, how exactly would you do it? Just talk to another country who also doesn't have the information the Soviets secreted away?

I can promise you 90% of Russians don't watch this shit because they all know the Russian police are all corrupt and don't give a f*ck about ordinary Russian citizens. They are there to intimidate and terrorize and harass and oppress the population and corrupt the criminal mafia police state: not solve crimes.

Interesting miniseries. That said, I would have liked to have seen more interaction between the girls. Having most of Lera's interactions be with adults like Sveta was effective for the storyline but very strange to me. Also, I felt that part 3 was wasted. Sveta and Oleg spend almost no time together because he's married, so there wasn't really a chance to have their relationship develop on screen beyond Oleg's screaming matches. Their initial meeting seemed to carry the story when it didn't need to.

Watching what horrors and evil nazis did across Donbass, Crimea, i totally understand why its people rebelled against the Kiev coup government after 2014. maidan and chose to join russia... And i understand why russia had to invade ukraine in 2022. - because nazis had returned and threathened russia once again, and russian people, knowing what nazis did to them in WW2, would not let them slaugher them again!
