It’s so cool but I could so see me playing bass and flirting with a note when unsure of what’s coming up next. This seemed like a recording that was fresh like that.

Very nice song. And, in sum, not a bad album. If this was Spoon's first album, I'd be Ga Ga (Ga Ga Ga) for it. As it stands, it is an album that borrows heavily from what they've done before, perhaps more than any of their prior albums had done. Maybe it's not such a bad idea to borrow when your prior catalog is so great!?
