I was super nervous watching you walking around town in that yellow jacket. Can you share what brand/link of the jacket? Would love to get one. Thank you.

What’s with all the Graham hate? He’s pretty clear his ideas are just theories. Nothing wrong with keeping an open mind about an exciting past.

Money isn't the only reason archaeologists leave sites unexcavated. Much as they want to know what is there, they also understand that in the future, there will be new technologies and techniques that may find more that we can today if excavating an undisturbed site.

25:30 actually the fallus is a devine symbol that represents life in ancient times. Like the ejeculation starts the life of man so does the "ejeculation" of "God" start all life. This is the sacred meaning. Its also found in the Old Kingdom of Egypt and many more Ancient cultures.

Graham handcock operates on the principle of savagery. He doesn’t believe that people of that time were civilized enough or smart enough to create their own things, values, and beliefs. That is a scary way to think. Please remember who you give a platform too.

My brother, science lies because the world has existed for 5784 years Even when the first man was created, he was created about 20 years old, so if the scientists were to test him, he would be 20 years old Likewise, the world itself is about thousands of years old, but really it is 5784 years old Therefore, anyone who shows such a video is a waste of time and a lie
@rexomnipotentus387
@rexomnipotentus387 6 годин тому
Science is not a person or a thing that can lie. Lying and making up things is the opposite of science, it's anti-science. Your claim that the world is 5784 years old is also made up and is supported by absolutely nothing, except for man made religious texts.

As an archaeologist I am very disappointed that people keep giving a platform to people like Graham Hancock, instead of giving it to the actual scientists working at a wonderful site like this one. They hold the actual up to date knowledge and hypothesis on the history of the sites they work on and they should be the one sharing it, not a con man "speculating" to keep making millions exploiting the gullibility of people.

I do medical missions in the peruvian andes to the second highest city. One year there were riots from this mining town come to the city where I was working. Thankfully we were working all day and missed the violence otherwise it would’ve been hell for us. This town is as bad or worse as shown here.

My nomination for the strangest country in the world? (Turkmenistan may beat this, though - but Yes Theory, this being the first of your videos I've seen, proves that a strong sense of humanity prevails even in the face of such oppression. This in no way surprises me.) Picture this: A walled city-state. The construction there dates from the medieval and Middle Ages periods. This nation is ruled by an absolute religious dictatorship, where observance of the state religion is CUMPULSORY. Divorce and abortion may be entirely illegal. Not everybody is even allowed to MARRY. This nation is so strict, that there is a national dress code. This sounds like some utterly obscure place socked-away in the Himalayas or the Andes, and a country which MUST be totally irrelevant in the world, right? I present, to you, Vatican City.

For a sight of such importance its crazy how little it looks like its been excavated and preserved just compared to some of the ancient Roman sights that have been found.

Giggling bro dudes, who seemingly know very little about the region and the folks they are looking at. Nothing insightful and nothing poignant. A true inability to dig a little deeper than the shallow surfaces they encounter. It’s like teenagers who want to impress their friends by running into a haunted house. Meanwhile, they know nothing about the history of the house nor the people that lived there. Or why the house is in the condition it’s in and what brought it to that state. This is just dudes with cameras and seemingly no real feel for the nuances of humanity or working operations of a “foreign” region like that.
