Чтобы осознать насколько это было давно, я вспоминаю что во время выхода этого видео Юи ещё была с группе, и то что уже присоединилась Момо, и выпустили два альбома

I love how even though this music is so modern and fantastic and young, the lyrics are still simply about a teenage girl having her first rock/metal concert at the age of 15. That's something so many can relate to, ages 10(anticipating their first concert) - 80.
@thomasshrum4006Рік тому
I'm still so sad that they got rid of Ladybeard and went a completely different musical route. They really had something unique going there and could have turned the band into brand ambassadors for Nippon, but for whatever behind the scenes drama it never came to fruition.

This makes me smile every time I see hear it, I love 1:38 // moa, or is it yui smiling waving her arm ‘Damn you!’…. I wonder if the more accurate Japanese translation might be ‘F-k you!’? Anyway just epic & over the top,…. No other band has affected me like this
@youngKarl0072 роки тому
This is the real deal… just epic. Like something out of Shakespeare or Edgar Allen Poe… There aren’t too many other bands, or singers, in the world operating on such a high level…

Three times she had to adjust her left earpiece and never once skipped a beat dancing or let her voice waver or soften. She is a conSUmmate professional performer. She can act, dance and sing her heart out. The road is wide ahead for her future in whatever endeavor(s) she chooses!
@Dragon49Master2 роки тому
More accurate and literal translation that flows better with the song. Its difficult with the different syntax and sentence structure that Japanese uses, and the multiple meanings which one sound or word can have depending how and where its located and how its used, to sometimes come up with a translation in English that (1) makes sense and (2) matches the cadence of the music. Hats off to Maygrace for doing both rather adeptly.

The only thing I don't get is at the line around 1 minute, it says "I hold on tightly to my cheap train tickets". The Japanese lyrics of this line includes the kanji "Juu-Hachi" meaning 18. So where did the eighteen go? Just wondering.
@Dragon49Master2 роки тому
The Seishun Juhachi Kippu (青春18きっぷ, meaning something like "Youthful 18 Ticket") is a seasonally available railway ticket, which gives you five days of unlimited, nationwide travel on local and rapid JR (Japan Railways) trains for only 12,050 yen, or 2,410 yen per day (hence the translation to "cheap" train tickets) :)

Err..the lyrics is very mysterious and sinister. I like the song but am disturbed by the lyrics. Anyway all hail our little metal sisters black babymetal!
@am5ters5042 роки тому
it's about a little girl persuading her dad into buying things for her, how is it sinister?
@santoshsharma4832 роки тому
@@am5ters504 the "I will be your bride" part. It's only a minor disturbance, maybe the true meaning in Japanese and translation could be wrong, I don't know but that doesn't stop me from loving Babymetal and the Kami Band.
@EntertheFray12 роки тому
@@santoshsharma483 It's fairly common for a kid about 4 or 5 to say ridiculous stuff that they don't have concepts about. If they've ever asked about marriage for example, a parent might say its what you do when you really love someone. Marriage is a way of expression you love someone, so when a kid says they want to marry their mother/father, they are just saying they love them so much. It's cute in kid logic. In the context of this song, its just used as a way to flatter their parents to get them to buy them something. There might be additional context for Japan here that I don't know about that changes it, but even in the west this stuff does happen. Kids are kids, after all. My parents still tease me to this day about something I said when I was 4 that they found hilarious. I was watching an old black/white movie, and I said it must have been hard for them to not have had colour in their life. So think of it along those lines.
