He then goes on to help orchestrate an insane comeback win against said Oregon team, while wearing the blue and orange of Auburn, goes on to eventually transfer to Oregon three years down the line, becomes the NCAA’s all-time leader in games started, and in doing so, becomes arguably an even more successful Oregon quarterback than Justin Herbert was, and now he’ll be facing Justin Herbert twice a year, while wearing the blue and orange of the Denver Broncos. It’s crazy how time flies in a little less than half-a-decade. It almost feels like it was meant to be….

The greatest football game, at any level, I’ve ever seen. And I’m not a Boise State or Oklahoma fan, I’m from Maryland, home of the old Colts and the current Ravens. And I still think this is the best damn football game ever played. I’ve rewatched it several times, and each time I can’t really believe Boise is going to pull it out, AND make it feel 100% earned. Not a bunch of fluke plays, just one fine set of calls and performances. Bravo.
