Great breakdown of the features and assembly of the unit. The only thing that does not work, and hasn't worked for many people, is the WiFi networking. I personally tried using 9 different 2.4Ghz WiFi networks across 4 devices including 2 hotspots on two separate phones, and could not get it to connect. The ESP works fine, blinks blue twice, but it never ever sees the device IP or gets on the network. Seems to be broken in the last 5-6 firmware revisions. I had to use USB on a baremetal Windows machine to communicate with it. Using it in a VM or an ARM64 Windows VM on my Mac M1, did not work.

Hello, I'm trying to get two HM10 bluetooth modules to connect to each other for my senior year university project. I have followed the video although my circuit is slightly different. The bluetooth module can connect to the DSDTECHBluetooth app on my iPhone. However, when I turn off all nearby bluetooth devices, and disconnect the HM10 from the DSDTECHBluetooth app, I cannot run any AT commands in the Arduino serial monitor. I have tried several different configurations of the voltage divider, and still nothing. Is it possible that my wires are faulty? I'm not sure how the HM10 can connect to the DSDTECHBluetooth app, but AT commands do not work. Any help is appreciated, thank you!

Is this still a problem if you use two cells feeding a voltage regulator that then feeds the arduino? As I understand it the problem arises because a Lion cell drops below 3.3V as it discharges this messing with the analog ref. Correct?

it works fine, and the mesh feature is great, unfortunately speed is drasticaly decreased, from 22mbps to 1.4mbps. So no go for me, better to use a cheap commercial repeater.
