This story is about a simp. No she was not a great wife, she is thinking about having sex with another man. She has already had an emotional affair, but the guy does not have the balls to admit the marriage is over. He needs to find his balls, and start the divorce process. He needs to escape this toxic family, they are just evil. Glad to see at the end he found his balls and left that toxic family.

It's a fictional story and it distracted me. Yet it's easier to believe in the plot of Star Trek than what happens here. I am 63 years old and I believe that the female mentality has changed, but believing that a group of women and men from this family think and act in this way is ridiculous and unlikely. The children, parents and in-laws agreeing to a “cuckold” coexistence, just laughing. I was even expecting an ending where the protagonist would agree with the situation. He was even very passive accepting the maneuvers (a bit of an exaggeration here). They even set up his daughter-in-law and son. This is surreal. Alice in Wonderland is more believable. There was a lack of better attention at the end. What were the consequences, feelings and actions of the family and wife's actions? What happened to the wife? Still, thanks for the post. I don't understand why in these stories the husband allows thier wives to lead them around vy the nose. Instead of handling it by throwing the pictures down on the table and confronteding her he walks out of the room. Nope not real life at least not in my house.

I see no point in all the flowers and poetic narrative. It was long winded and mostly boring right up to the less than stellar ending. All told a waste of time. No standing up to the whole family in your home. It was impossible to feel any sympathy for him at all. Years ago it happened to me. My 1st wife was cheating and I found most of my family knew it and covered for her. I threw her out and told the family what I thought of them. I never ever allowed people to disrespect me in my own home. And had no problem at all in throwing people out my door bodily if I needed to. Even my wife found that out. People disrespect you if you allow them to. I don't.

The story was full of flashbacks. What made it tough to follow was that the flashback was to a party just like the current party. You just had to follow whether they were dating or married. There was a repetition at the end, but the story's ending was unsatisfying. The guy was a cuckold and didn't understand it despite everyone groveling to him.

Men need to realize that if you treat your wife/fiancé/gf as a queen, be prepared to be treated as a servant! This is also proof that so many women confuse kindness for weakness! This is confusing but it seems that all the changes appear to be flashbacks on his life, young left in orphanage, his boarding school, his army life and his current life.
